good news!! The writing for issue -0 has concluded!! now i have to put together all the assets, get what i’ve written edited so it all flows together. meaning I should indeed be able to meet that mid july deadline

i’m going to try to post a bit more frequently here as i need to get this blog up and running; but i’ve been working on everything behind the scenes since that is something i’ve found to be really good at but im hoping to change that

i haven’t really been on this blog in a hot minute i realize. I’ve been doing ton of writing but i wanted to pop by and say i’m still here so i bring a colored ref for one of the primary characters Phil. a lot has changed from the initial idea of this project and I cant wait to start putting it together and working on a few additional side pieces for this project and sharing them on this blog!!

The second ref for phil is an idea that won’t be seen for quite some time but it’s an idea i’ve been playing with for past few weeks and i think i like it.

issue 0 will be hopefully posted sometime during july. it’s going to be a trial issue mostly for me to work out formatting and defining the basis of a story that has almost no concrete formal story outside of some few defined short stories.

i kinda decided on the name of my zine now, and now i kinda actually wanna work on it

been thinking on it i might just go ahead and do this project as multi media- most of what i’m writing currently is just stuffed into a google doc broken into different tabs to make it easier to read for friends so i can get feed back on everything and two so i don’t get over whelmed writing something lengthy. so i think doing different types of media forms like short form animation, digital zine, and a webcomic would work well.

was in a rush when making this but i wanted to include some snippets of what i’ve been working for the past few weeks since its a lot of writing and it’s writing i’ve been enjoying. yes The Human now technically has a name when this story takes place, but when Jimmy comes into the scene, Jam lacks a name, as if seemingly everyone might’ve forgotten who knows

kinda decided on a whim to expand the world i’m telling to featuring other stories and other characters, and how they either struggle or live a more blissful life in a society that’s crumbling slowly but surely.

things have been getting a bit hectic but i’ve been throwing around the idea of drawing The Human in more feminine clothing’s for awhile now and decided it was finally time to do so.

*note that The Human doesn’t have a name or gender, i only said boy as a joke to fit the theme of what i was going for because The Human absolutely looks like a pretty boy in dresses and i’ll leave it at that
