i've only been on tour for a few days now and while i always forget how much i love being on the road until i get back out there, i know a bit of homesickness is going to hit at some point because there really is nothing like being in your own bed. if you could send yourself a care package as a pick-me-up whenever you need it while you're away, what would you put in it? @sbhqstarters
ohhh that's such a good question. i'm away most of the time so i really just have a big ass purse with little trinkets i basically can't live without. just things like pictures, oils, crystals, my favorite candy, you know. the good thing is that most of my family and friends are on the road also so sometimes we get to have only a little journey to see each other and feel right at home. but it sucks huh? when you're at home you miss the road and when you're on the road you miss home. blessed with a curse really.
it's so funny that people are really are like shocked that i went onto hot ones with a bug face prosthetic on. like that means they aren't really fans of mine because if they were they would know i love being a bug. so here's me solana rowe saying, i like being a bug! @sbhqstarters

Sooo it's my birthday in approximately 12 hours (omg i'm almost 28), and in dutch tradition the birthday boy or girl has to buy cake and arrange the activities. So who's up for celebratory pumpkin pie, bottle toss and bull riding? My treat of course.

Unfortunately I've been busy with work and other committments, otherwise I would have loved to go. Ugh, I love Saint Laurent, their stuff is so elegant and beautiful. Yeah, I've been working in Canada for the past few months on a new streaming project. I'm really excited about it.

babes, jet lag is a real freaking thing. it doesn't matter how tired you are, you're lying wide awake staring at a television screen, even if it's blank, willing sleep to come. i hope you've been able to get some sleep at this point, though! all that aside, how is fashion week?!

You're speaking very true words there. So are you working on something right now? Something that makes you so short on sleep? I really just try to find a balance between keeping busy like ironing my curtains and totally committing to disney original movie marathons at 3 am. And maybe a sleepy pill here and there.
Nine times out of ten I was working or I was needed somewhere else or I would have been there. It is one of the things on my bucket list on things I want to do if given the chance. Oh you are so sweet, Bella, I would be honored to be your guest at any fashion event honestly. Have you ever tried a service like Audible or books on tape? I have listened to a lot of books that way when I have traveled the last few days. Yes I have a couple new movies I am getting ready to work on. When will you be back stateside? Maybe we can do dinner or something soon.
Ah that's a shame but at least the alternatives sound good! Yeah i've tried those kinds of things! It's a lot better than a physical book sometimes but i just can't fall asleep while listening to it, mostly it helps me get through flights and drives without having to think of what playlist i feel like listening to, haha. I'll be flying back tomorrow so i'd defenitely love to have dinner and hear about those new movies! Which reminds me that i have to google what movie or show with you i saw a snippet of and i need to see. You're some bitchy ladies employee and she makes so you fly out later in coach if i remember correctly.
Well I filmed a commercial in New York, had to work on my newsletters and get them out, I've got a show coming out on Netflix in November, my newest movie trailer has come out, and a new Hawkeye is possibly in the works.

that's what keeps us all on our toes. at least for me, it feels like i haven't slept since before i started filming all of the newer projects and now who even knows what sleep is anymore ahaha. all is great though, i've gotten to see you do your thing in-between doing mine and i gotta say i'm super proud of you girl.
