It is silent and potent. It can bring down even the strongest, brightest person. Today, the world lost such a fantastic, breath taking light to depression and ultimately suicide. It isn't a matter to take easily. It isn't something to brush off. If someone around you is expressing symptoms of depression and thoughts of suicide, I urge you to encourage them to get proper help. Don't let them suffer alone. I won't lie and say that I am okay. SHINee, from the first moment I heard their music, has been my strength and comfort. Their music, their personalities, their smiles, their everything kept me pushing forward when I didn't even want to breathe. Some people might not understand the ultimate power of music, the impact a group of people can have. Their fans become a family, laughing, crying, loving and growing together. Today, our Shawol family has been cut to the core. Not only because we lost one of our lights but because the rest of our lights must be so dim and hurting right now. My body is numb, my heart is sore. My eyes are swollen from the tears. But it compares to nothing of what his family and friends must feel. I can only hope that he has found his peace and is resting comfortably. That he is no longer suffering. I don't know what the future will hold for SHINee and for Shawols, but we can only lean on each other and take it one step at a time. I am here if you need me. Please don't hesitate to message. 7 days of selfies! I have been doing well with this challenge so far. My clean eating has been going well, with one slip up on Day 3 (carls jr). I have done one yoga session but the cats and pup were all over me 😂 I need to get in the cardio and work in more yoga without distractions. I haven't kept a food journal, kinda forgot about that goal. I will try to remember to start with tomorrow. Keeping positive and trying to remember that it is only week one done. On Monday, Choco was neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He hates wearing the "cone of shame" so I made him some underwear from an old pair of Gabe's underwear. 😂 I even made a hole for his tail! Tried the tshirt method and he is just too tiny. Tried the onesie method and he is too long. This seems to work best!
