O: what did my parents tell me again? I think it might have been something like, “You’re enough just as you are, so always protect yourself.” They told me this when I was a kid, so it was quite a while ago. If you boil it down, it’s “trust.” I think it was something like, “I’ll always believe in you, so live your own life.” the greatest form of love is “trust”, after all. I’ve heard those words since I was a child, and I think they’re the kind of words that give me the strength to get back up whenever I need to. It’s because I know there’s someone who believes in me even when I fail—that’s what matters most. I was given that trust when I was a kid, too.

O: This is tough, isn’t it? I feel the same way, it’s really hard throwing away things you’re attached to. I’ve been struggling with this for a while. I think you’ll be able to let it go when you really need to. Right now, it’s just something that’s on your mind a little, right? It’s okay! If you really have to, humans are naturally wired to tidy things up.
I agree, it’s hard to resolve this dilemma. If you think it’s not so bad to leave things as they are right now, then I think it’s fine to just leave them that way. But if you feel like you want to get rid of everything and have a fresh start, then I think you should go ahead and do that when the time comes.
(ONEW, is there anything you personally can’t bring yourself to throw away?)
Yes, there is! Even when I move out, I take the same stuff with me to my new place. I don’t throw anything away at all. I throw away things I haven’t used in years, though. For example, computer parts or cables that I thought I’d use someday. I tell myself, “I’ll sort this out someday!” but it just keeps piling up...it’s nothing but cables. When I'll need to, I’ll sort them and throw them away.

For me, when I eat something sour like a lemon gum, I feel like my tears go in a slightly different direction. Instead of my tear ducts, my salivary glands kick in, so everything’s flowing: my nose, eyes, and mouth… Sour things are probably the best

O:I’m sure you’ve been handling things well up to now, but perhaps it would be a good idea to agree on at least one thing that you both absolutely must stick to, and then make sure you both do just that. I don’t think that in relationships, one person is necessarily always entirely right. When I think about it again, I realise there were things I said that were wrong, and if I’d listened more carefully, there must have been things the other person said that were incorrect too. I think it’s necessary for both of you to take a step back and reconsider what each of you has said, at least once. (When opinions differ, are you more of an emotional person or a logical one?) I suppose I’m mostly an emotional person. But I do want to become more of a logical person. It’s a kind of beauty I’m striving for. Even though I feel a certain way, I find myself thinking, ‘Yes, what the other person is saying makes sense; that’s also a possibility.’

O: I feel the same way, and I’m sure lots of people struggle with this. Since you can’t do both at the same time, I think it’s best to balance. Rather than leaning too heavily toward one or the other, I think you should focus on staying healthy.

I don’t eat. That’s the truth. Lately, I realized that if I chow down food, I I I won't feel good. I used to eat all the time and regret it every single time in the past. When you eat slowly, there comes a moment when you realize, “Okay, this is enough.” You start to think that it’s better to mix up your meals with a variety of foods rather than just focusing on carbs. I think the key is to avoid binge eating.

*My mother always sheds tears when she hears Onew sing, saying, "What a beautiful voice," showing her delicate nature. She's sensitive, but her driving is reckless so I think, "You need to drive more calmly." O: My dad used to drive really recklessly, and I’d always get nervous and go, “Oh no!” but I don’t think he does anymore. He's over 60 now. If you could just wait a little longer, I’m sure your mom will be fine too.
