April 29, 2015 It's been awhile since we've covered a Tony Tzar class. He's one of my favorite teachers. I love his teaching style. If you have taken his class, you know what I'm talking about. I wish there were more like him.
He didn't teach to a specific song. Most of the songs he played in class were 90s-Early 2000s music (A Tribe Called Quest, 702, Mad Skillz, Lucy Pearl, Total, Ma$e) & rare remixes that had similar feel. I guess since he is a musician as well, he knows what songs fit to the combo. It was amazing to see the students adjust to whatever random song was playing.
