I keep thinking about Xkour Skylines and how or why they even got elemental tests even if no player is technically allowed there. Did they knew someone would bug into the skylines and instead of working around a way to not make that happen, they go "ye know what? Make them suffer a little more to meet god".
Although the idea of them punishing players who managed to clip into a no entry zone is funny, I've actually got my own ideas for it written down somewhere else. (No, there was no confirmation in game as to why the trials exist other than "complete them to meet the creator".)
Here's my idea:
The guardian trials were once supposed to be an endgame location where the best players can claim 100% completion on the game if they manage to make it through, and as a bonus they'll be able to meet the creator as a congratulations; explaining the meet the creator part.
However, due to technical delays, The Skylines was incomplete when Xkour first launched. So, the only people who could access and try out the guardian trials were creators and beta-testers (assuming beta-testers weren't labelled as Xkour players).
This also explains why no one had gotten past Frost's trial, because not many people tried them out in the first place AND the trials were likely still in the process of being balanced.
After Luni abandoned the game, the guardians likely were left with nothing to do except watch over the present players since their original intended purpose wasn't fully realised.
hm. i want to make fankid ocs but it is so difficult for me to imagine most of these characters having children
Was thinking about Gacha pulls randomly and then wondered:
To everyone who has played Gacha World (not the dress-up mod) before,
What was the luckiest pull you've ever gotten?
raising your sibling-friends alone was tough
suggestion reqs still open
The caption reminded me of this:
yayyy tactical gear gwen
hmmmm ppl should give me character suggestions
also update i have a cool gwen sketch in the queue to post later heehee but if these posts are still there that means im still up for suggestions <3
Lmao, I was just about to ask for a simple Gwen sketch because I've been feeling kind of flowery.
So instead, may I ask for young Blaz? 🥺
Quick Gwen doodle with a pen.

One day, Valor, one day when you're all grown up (aka: when you're a 5 star).
The ultimate gacha world oc tutorial
1. use this base
TIP: if you want anything to look like it's selected use a clip mask and paint said thing with pure white and then make it 20% opacity
2. on the blank space of the first image put this one and set it at 50% opacity (the opacity is for the weapons or the character to be visible behind the description)
TIP: make this white line on front of all the other layers so it covers anything out of the square and with an airbrush eraser make it a little see through
[see how phantom's weapons is visible? Thats why You should set the opacity at 50%]
3.The story icon goes on front of your character, so does the rarity and element
(if you're a perfectionist and want the square to be see through like the actual game, paint behind de letters the color #1F1F2E and makes it 60% opacity)
4. For the description use this thing and change the attack type to your liking, now the thing is that the actual font is expensive af and I couldn't find a way to pirate it.
Everything is replaceable with arial family font (which I did pirate it with no problem)
Specifically it's:
Name and quote: Arial ce bold
Skills description: arial bold
5. Put this square on top of the empty slots and with the magic wand place your portrait. On top of the portrait use another layer, paint it white and set said layer at 20% opacity
For showing the portrait is IMPORTANT to use this since I realized on the actual game there's no chibi on the background
Then on top of said base paint the whole layer Black and set it 70% opacity, put your drawing, use bold Arial for the text and boom done!!!
Do tell me if theres anything unclear
"Which one is the real me? They all are!"

Finally! The (un) official artwork of Blaz
Used this pose to make him a taekwando fighter (Gotta give the other XKour characters fighting styles as well :D)
I'll draw a background later (Or not-)
After some experimenting, the best ratio to upload your characters to Gacha Story is in a 1:1 ratio. The game will shrink your image to fit that 1:1 boundary.
(Although, technically, I think I'll be drawing stuff in a 3:4 ratio mostly.)
Hi, @xaieia
I hope this helps visualise how the game handles resizing. (Numbers indicate length of height and width.)
Once I cropped the image, it seems the game had resized each image (zoom 1x) to 563 x 563. However, I believe it will be different for each device's screen resolution.
I think I made a mistake about the ratio, because I just checked in the scene itself...
So, the boundary is actually 3:4 to 2:3 -ish.
The reason I made that mistake was because I was only looking at the character page.
Apparently, the character page has a 1:1 viewing boundary, but the actual scene boundary is the aforementioned.

It would've be so helpfull if they put size examples for the sprites rather than discovering them ourselves
Better yet if they could upload an official tutorial on the game. (Like a preset story you can play/edit.)
It took me a while to figure out what the sun icon in the upper left corner does in the scene setter.
(It only works when you have more than one character. You select the non-speaker/focus character, then you tap on the icon to change how dimmed the character is.)
I'm working on a tutorial "story" now, but I'm not entirely sure how to order things.
That's why I've been testing out stuff in the game.
