Our 2014/2015 Annual Report is online!
Click Here to check it out
Maddy and I planned, designed, and edited this whole thing in about 2 weeks. It was a fun final project to cap off our time with YWAM Montana Lakeside. It’s 30 pages of fun facts, statistics, and reports from the past year. We hope you enjoy it!
Road Trip! We’re going to be taking the long way home on our drive back to Michigan. We’ll stop at a couple parks in Utah before swinging down to Dallas to see our good buddy Ivan and his family, and then it’s on to Detroit. Looking forward to a week of driving and wide open spaces.
Today there was no smoke in the air… The sky was blue and we could actually breathe. This hasn’t happened in 14 days. We celebrated with a glorious 8 mile bike ride and breathed in fresh air, and soaked up the last couple weeks of amazing Montana summers. Soon we move into other things… We are grateful for the adventure we have been on and are about to embark on.
This past weekend was YWAM Montana Lakeside's 30th Anniversary. On the first night we premiered the documentary that I've been working on for the past several months. I started sorting through old footage for this film last November and the interns and I spent the entire summer shooting and editing this thing. It was way more work than I initially imagined, but I'm really happy with the end product. It's called "Just Beginning" and it's the story of a small group of people who transformed a dilapidated old Air Force base into a thriving university campus that trains and sends hundreds of young missionaries each year.
We took two of our interns and some friends into Glacier National Park on Saturday to check out the more touristy aspects of the park. Jeremiah brought his GoPro and put together this little video of the trip.

It talks about our strategic initiative in Taiwan called “The Surge” and everything that’s happened over the past few months. We had an opportunity last year to be on the very first Surge team and it’s really exciting to see how much has happened since then.
We took the Creative Media Department and our interns to Glacier National Park this week to gather some footage for some videos we're working on. Here's a few photos that I snapped on my phone. We'll have some real photos and videos to share in the next week or two. -Jordan
Check out this time-lapse we shot last night of the northern lights from the top of Blacktail Mountain.

Maddy: Ultimate Montana weekend, summer time burger stops, flathead lake swims including cliff jumping, driving through glacier national park and exploring a new spot in that park. The adventures are endless here in Montana. If you ever get a chance to see this state in the summer, jump on that opportunity, you are missing out on a lot.
Maddy: The last few days have been the epitome of summer - cliff jumping into flathead lake, workouts and campus golf (golf with tennis balls so we don’t break windows) so happy this season is here and that I get to share it with my husband and friends.
Last weekend in May was filled with tennis, sunshine & a cute husband.

We spent the long Memorial Day weekend a few hours north of here in Canada. It was great to visit old friends and spend a couple days in a new place.
A long weekend in Canada - Calgary + Banff + long time friends. It’s been real good.
