As some of you may know, I was robbed of my A7RII camera by 3 guys in Rome a few days ago. The tool I use to work and create is gone (but I still have Paris photos). Sadly, I found out that my insurance only covers damage and/or malfunction, not loss or theft. Which leaves me w/o a camera and I'm unable to replace it at the moment. While I can rent for a few upcoming gigs, that adds up fast. Asking for help is not an easy thing for me to do at all. But today, I am humbly asking for it. I have created a GoFundMe https://www.gofundme.com/kmpzz6yk to try to make up for some of the cost. Anything you can donate would be beyond appreciated. Words, cannot express my gratitude. Movember Portrait Series. #MOxPOP . My father has been battling prostate cancer for the past 12 years. With my dad's story as inspiration I'm trying to make a difference, with a Movember donate drive along with the support from my team/family @PursuitofPortraits. . All portraits I post in November will have moustaches whether they are of a guy or girl, real or fake. My friend @deejayforte sported the 'Brawny Towel Guy' look with a fake stache. Thanks Deej! . I got to know the gorgeous & rad @seekwisdom_ yesterday, during the #eyeseenewyork photo walk. We added a bit of my bling to the shot sooo 💎 facts! . Ancient Romans & Greeks believed that diamonds were tears cried by the gods or splinters from falling stars. While that's never been proven, scientists have discovered a star that is made of crystallized carbon, a.k.a. what a diamond consists of. This makes the star about 10 billion-trillion-trillion carats. 💎🌟 They nick-named the star Lucy, after the Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” Which is a lot better than its science name - BPM 37093. . This is my friend @itsneilb and when I say that he’s one of the most talented photographers out there, I’m 100% serious. He’s also the most genuine dude you’ll meet. No bullshit, no filter, you just get Neil, which is refreshing. (Bonus: he’s also super nice). He can get me in front of the camera w/o a shred of hesitation or anxiety… which might be because he’s taken some of the best photos of me ever. So, while it was a little nerve-wracking, I wanted to attempt to return the favor & take a few of him. This one made me think of a Hype Williams music video from the 90’s. Neil is also a cyclist sooo 🚲 facts: While pedaling uphill will slow a cyclist down, the universal factor fighting a cyclist’s performance is air. Dry air at sea level has a density of about .075lb/ft3, compared with dry air at 7,000ft above sea level which has a lighter density of .062lb/ft3… that change can result in a 1mph faster ride, give or take. Also, The fastest speed ever recorded on a bicycle was by American John Howard, at 152.2 mph in 1985, while motor-pacing on a pedal bicycle, on Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats. The 20-acre Lake is the largest of Central Park's naturalistic water bodies. Park designers Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux created the Lake from a former swamp, for boating in the summer and ice-skating in the winter. He's from Pensacola, FL sooooo Florida facts 🙌🏼: Pensacola was the original Capitol of FL. Spaniard Don Tristan de Luna arrived in Pensacola on Aug. 15, 1559, establishing the first European settlement in the USA. One month later, a hurricane destroyed supplies, eventually causing the Spanish to flee the area. In 1698, Fort San Carlos de Austria became the first permanent settlement in Northwest Florida. Remains of the fort can be found at Naval Air Station Pensacola. Having been ruled by Spain, France, The UK, the Confederacy and the United States, Pensacola has earned the nickname “City of Five Flags.” (at Webster Hall)

A mercer is a textile dealer, which is appropriate given SoHo's textile factory past and its high-end retail present. But, Mercer Street is actually named for Revolutionary War General, Hugh M. Mercer who was killed in the battle of Princeton in 1777. Greene Street, which is a block over, is named after General Nathanael Greene, who was in the same battle (Greene survived). Delicate Arch is a 65-foot-tall freestanding natural arch located in Arches National Park. It is the most widely recognized landmark in Arches National Park and is depicted on Utah license plates. Which is how it earned the nickname, "License Plate Arch". It's a 1.5 mile hike out to Delicate Arch via a cairn (rock piles) marked trail and is not suggested for beginners. It has an estimated population of 1,636,268, living in a land area of 22.83 sq miles. That equals 71,672 residents per sq mile. On business days, commuters increase that number to over 3.9 million, or more than 170,000 people per sq mile. Ancient Rome was 8 times more densely populated than Manhattan is today.
