hi, but does anyone watch The Middle and was your heart absolutely shattered when Sean showed up to talk to Sue and tell her how he felt but Axl intervened and thought he was talking about Lexi so he sent Sean away and now what if Sue never knows how Sean feels when she feels the same way because this is everything I never really knew how much I wanted until Sean kept being a sweetie and showing up to take Sue to various dances.

April Kepner is right.
This thing is bigger than April. It is bigger than Richard. Do you know what I have noticed throughout this episode? I noticed that their ugly political pissing contest, as April had put it, has interfered with quality teaching. While they were arguing on ways to teach and who is right and wrong, they actually forgot to teach! The only resident who got quality education here was Jo, who was with…guess what, April! (Go figure) Stephanie and Warren both had crappy teachers, regardless on who was on whose side. So yeah. Someone had to take the damn job. If April had said no, Bailey would have offered her second choice. Then her third, fourth, and up to the last attending until there was no chief in surgery, and during the whole time only the patients would suffer most, which is no big deal right? So YES, April kepner was right. This is bigger than them.
I kinda have this foreboding feeling Japril won't end up together at the end of this season. Normally I'd watch my ships on a slow burn and think 'okay, this is nice, they're heading the right direction.' But for Shonda's show I know better. She would lure us into taking this bait and then bam! Pull a Lexi Grey or Callie Torres on us. It is just how she writes her shows, especially with talents leaving the show. So now I gotta prey to whichever god that Jesse Williams believes. Dear Jesse Williams' god. Don't let him leave this show.
WTF is even going on anymore
My problem with SVU is that the episodes are so random and scattered drama wise. It’s the Benson show, which is not Mariska’s fault, but the show focuses so heavily on her for the five mandatory minutes of personal time per episode that isn’t focused on the cases. Remember how when she was dating Cassidy, and the lawyer? And now Tucker? So much screentime. Remember when Rollins and Nick were together? We got what, one scene with Nick in a towel? Not addressed. Remember when Nick was leaving and Rollins didnt even know, and we never got to see a goodbye or even the slightest fallout for her? But hell, every single one of Benson’s relationships are mapped out clear as day.
What about the other characters? Does Fin have a life? Does Barba? Remember when he got all those threats that created momentary blown-way-outta-proportion drama for like one episode? Remember how we didn’t even know Dodds was engaged until he died? Remember how he was brought in and killed off needlessly before he even made it on the intro? What about Carisi? A priest saved his life. Has this even been addressed? Rollins, remember Declan? Where the hell has he been? Has he met Jesse? Does anyone even know he’s the father? Rollisi, the writers have been toying with us for SO LONG. Are they together, or not?
This is why I can’t stand watching any more. Because we’ve got these awesome characters with so much potetial and the writers do absolutely nothing with them.
Can someone please rant about this with me?

Japril thoughts
For me, April seemed so retired. Not retired with Jackson, but with their relationship and the whole 'trying' thing. I guess it could have started the moment she asked Jackson if he was sure before signing the divorce papers. But I kind of had that feeling when Jackson and April were discussing spliting holidays and stuff in the bar. Jackson was giving this typical 'I have unresolved feelings for you' stare at April whereas April kind of held this retired look. She just seemed so goddamn exhausted. And then in the recent episode she built her walls up and pushed away Jackson's help. I think it is the right thing to do. With all her faults and undoings, April has been labeled the bad guy here but it also is the pattern where Jackson gives up on them first. I dunno; half of me wants them back together, but then again if April were my real life friend or my sister, I'd say just move on, she doesn't deserve another old heartache. So whether seeing someone new or not, for now I hope she grows stronger and more mature in handling relationships. And while doing those things keeps a healthy distance away from Jackson.
It's been 3 years and I still miss them.

Guys remember when Cristina had a vision of the future, Japril had a girl? And they were all happy in a family picnic? It all makes so much sense now.
What do you think the chances are they named her Lexie?
OUT OF TRAUMA. slim to none. obviously jackson and april were both friends of lexie by the time she died, but especially given that they’re now divorced, i don’t think april would be okay with the idea of naming their daughter after a woman that jackson once dated. plus, the build up of the name between her and catherine wouldn’t make sense with it being lexie, since catherine and lexie barely ( if at all? i can’t remember ) interacted with each other. it’d be memorable, sure. but it doesn’t make sense. if anyone were to name a baby after lexie, it’d be meredith, but…. that ship already sailed. maybe, maybe some kind of feminization of mark ( because that’s what i wanted samuel’s middle name to be, mark ) but even that i don’t think is likely at all.
It would actually make more sense if they named her Reed, whom they were much closer with and has also passed away. (BTW so much wasted potential on friendship between April and Lexie!)
