This dress is from @target ! @targetstyle ! I had a girl ask me if it was designer !!! Got to love it ! I also tried out monochrome make-up . As a hairstylist for almost 20 years I want to address the issue of what hard water can do to the hair and what to do about it. The result of hard water on the hair can be tinting your haircolor a weird orange or a greenish blue . It creates a build up on your hair and makes your hair feel like straw. It will impact chemical processing at the salon and make your hair feel dull and lifeless. It can even impact your skin and scalp. You can have hard water from a well or a municipal water system. Hard water makes it harder to rinse the shampoo out of your hair. Making your hair feel tangled and rough. Soaps and shampoos are less effective in hard water because it reacts with the excess minerals to form calcium or magnesium salts. You can get your water tested and if needed get a home filtration system. If you can not do this I recommend a shower head filter or rinsing your hair with bottled water. You will want to clarify your hair. I recommend Malibu, a professional line of salon products. Malibu has in salon treatments and take home products to help remove the build up on your hair. I did read some at home remedies. Vodka in your shampoo, apple cider vinegar and lemon are all remedies that I feel wouldn't hurt to try to help remove build up. I have read coconut oil for the ends of your locks being dry due to mineral build up. I do not agree with that. I love coconut oil for your skin but I would use a deep conditioner from the salon if your hair feels dry . You do not want your hair to get a build up or look greasy from coconut oil. A professional hair treatment, mask or conditioner will help make your hair feel soft and more manageable.
