Hmm, that's generally true, but I don't think we'd have had SUCH a close race if Bell's only supporters this time around had been die hards. Especially since Atlanta showed up! They have multiple starters. That's hard to do even with big city behind you. Hell, there's only a single starter between both teams who played in the World Series last year.

I love Pirates fans, but I don't think we could have gotten to a photo finish without a little support from our friends.

That said, yes, I suspect his chances would have been better if he'd come from a bigger market. And yes, I feel you completely on being disappointed. I'm quite disappointed as well.

I still have my old stereo from high school (with speakers) that has a double tape deck. I think I have a blank tape somewhere, so I can totally make a mix tape!~

It’s so easy to find blanks, too 😍 I was just telling @joe-haden about picking em up in thrift stores and making mixtapes. That was always the real magic of cassettes, I think - you could copy them easily; and you could put all your music together, on one unit, PORTABLY, for the first time in human history.

I haven’t recorded too many yet, but it’s all great fun :D
