I'm not the most articulate person, but I really need to vent.
When I was a teen in the early to mid 2000s I was an average weight (I had a belly). I felt uncomfortable with myself because I wasn't thin like Mary-Kate and Ashley, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, etc
Then as an adult I became overweight. The body positivity movement of the late 2010s made me feel more comfortable with myself.
Now people are saying that Ozempic is a great miracle drug. Isn't it great that it's sooo easy to lose weight and stay thin?!
I make $17-ish an hour. I'm an admin assistant. I like my job! But I can't afford these ~miracle~ weight loss drugs.
