but for real, love that both jude and mads have been consistently (since at least wilde 1997, and hannibal, respectively) normal about gay people. not even like, overenthusiastic allies, which you never know if it's all an act, but normal. as one should be.
and now we get them both in a huge mainstream franchise blockbuster movie, where the goal is not 'representation!! đ', but by treating a gay love story like any other love story, it is much more meaningful

âYou havenât heardâŠâ
âJesus Christ, Mary, what?!â
âRemus⊠something awful has happened.â
She started explaining, and Remus fell to his knees as the whole world began to fall apart.â

Then, without warning, it changes again, turbulent chords circling back into something familiarâthe Elton John songbook. Henry closes his eyes, playing from memory. Itâs âYour Song.â *Oh.*

Iâd still do it though...
So do you like villains because theyâre cool, or because itâs cathartic to see characters completely lash out against the world for their trauma and abuse and just be angry for all their pain in a manner that doesnât actually affect anyone since itâs all fictional.
