About Me

Hello, if you guys are not familiar with me I call myself by my pseudonym Evelyn Pierce or Evelyn or Evie or my favorite animal Panda! I’m a fanfic writer, an ultimate The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai fan, who listens to old music and definitely a lover of boba tea. I am using the pronouns are she/her. I also love watching other 80s films during my spare time. 🩷

What story I’m currently writing?

I am currently writing a Johnny Lawrence fanfic that is still ongoing, I started writing it around June 2025. The story is based on a popular book series but I changed so much things from the source material. I could do a 30 day challenge with Johnny if I have some free time. I am mostly going to finish my story first before proceeding to other stories that I’m planning to do.

About My Character

Quinn is a character I made last year as I am making a Johnny Lawrence fanfic. Quinn is a fan of vintage things (just like me), she currently works as a featured writer for a pop culture magazine company and loves to bake and cook delicacies. She was raised in Greenwich, Connecticut and her parents are academically gifted. On the appearance of Quinn, she looks like English actress Ella Purnell in real life. She is currently in her 20s and a mature adult.

More About Me

As I mentioned before, I am a fan of The Karate Kid films and Cobra Kai series. Definitely a fan of the Miyagi-verse. I watched the first Karate Kid films around May 2025 (Ik I’m so late sry) and finished watching Cobra Kai in June 2025. I got to watch the new Karate Kid film, I am mostly active on TikTok and Instagram. The fans are so amazing that they get to express their love for the show.

I would like to thank the people who made The Karate Kid films and Cobra Kai and the fans who became friends with me and supported my yumeship.

My favorite character in the Miyagi-verse are Johnny, Daniel, Chozen, Miguel, Sam, Robby, Tory, Eli (Hawk), Tory, Kenny and Mr. Miyagi ✨

An alumni of UCLA and traditional musician.

Comes from humble beginnings and became successful in later in the 80s.

Tours all around and loves going to the Philippines

Lives in Encino but not same neighborhood as Johnny.

Background

Daniel in this AU learned music traditionally, he has been singing when he was little like Johnny. He has a recurring rivalry with Callous Cobras frontman Johnny Lawrence since they both went to the same high school.

He was raised by his single mother, Lucille and a mentor Nariyoshi Miyagi whom Daniel respects deeply and taught him how to read music and theories along the way, Daniel came from Newark but moved to the West Coast.

He became a soloist and performing around clubs and restaurants, Daniel debut in the early to mid 80s with his album “Lovingly Yours” and a winning hit “Light & Shade”

Daniel is understanding and kind, he does have limitations too and he dated a few music artists including City Pop sensation Kumiko Tanaka but remained friends with her. He finally went off the market by marrying businesswoman Amanda Steiner and have two children.

Daniel’s daughter Samantha is an aspiring pop singer and he mentors her and teaches her media training. He finds it questionable that Sam is dating Miguel of the Callous Cobras and since he is deeply involved with Johnny.

Daniel’s ongoing feud with Johnny is the media’s main hot topic. But he is very much known for being a philanthropist too and helps younger musicians to succeed in the industry and loves charity events. He is friends with Quinn (Peony Bloomfield) and had a duet with her.

Quinn’s Relationship With The Characters

⚠️!!Spoilers Ahead on Cobra Kai and Sunburn Hearts!!⚠️

Johnny Lawrence

Nicknames: Lawford/Quinny/Johinn/JQ

- One of the most main relationship in Quinn’s life, before meeting Johnny in person, he is mentioned by Miguel telling stories about him to Quinn during their college years. Quinn met Johnny when she’s an adult at just 24 years old. Quinn moved to the San Fernando Valley for a job since she cannot find a good one on her hometown of Greenwich, Connecticut. Johnny is mesmerized by Quinn by her looks and personality. They’re both different from one another, he does karate while she writes many things. Johnny is Quinn’s first, her first time with Johnny was unexpected with a strong weather happening at a kitschy motel that has never been renovated and kept furniture years ago, she is very much aware of their age difference, but she is an adult and can make her own decisions, Johnny also knows too but he is willing to risk everything for her. Johnny is Quinn’s first serious relationship. Quinn has been curious about Johnny when she met him, there is something about Johnny that made her fall for him. They dated for a year and sure they would have few arguments but they talked it out and making sure they communicate. Johnny and Quinn know each other as adults. When Quinn lives in the Valley around the start of summer, she lives next to her college friend and Quinn starts to hang out and know more about Johnny before they date, they start as friends and movie dates happened and gifts. Johnny and Quinn has to deal and face the harsh realities on being in a relationship but staying positive together. In Johnny and Quinn’s relationship, Johnny is the main kisser while Quinn is more the hugger. Both Johnny and Quinn have something in common, they both love things from the twentieth century, the difference is that Johnny experienced the past and lived through it while Quinn never did, she is a vintage aficionado and is raised with things old, she dreams about living in the past. During their relationship, Johnny and Quinn make love weekly, Quinn admits that Johnny is great in bed. Johnny is Quinn’s real love in her story.

Miguel Diaz

Nicknames: Diaford/Quigel

- Quinn met Miguel in her college years, she met him first. He is the one who introduced Johnny to her. They don’t go to the same university, he was in Stanford while she is in Berkeley and both of their universities are well known rivals. They are the best of friends, they first met at a local cafe in California and he lets Quinn join the friend group alongside Sam, Robby and Tory. He works as a physical therapist in the same hospital where his mother worked at, Quinn thinks he is just a friend and she never strings him along, she is in love with Johnny and he understood it, but he also has feelings for Quinn. He is kind and almost the same age as Quinn. When Johnny dates Quinn, he feels not in the place and sometimes he just does not want to be bothered.

Corrinne Beaumont

- Corrinne is Quinn’s best friend, they met in college. She is a confident friend who sometimes gives Quinn good or sometimes unintentionally bad advice, but she does care for Quinn. She is Quinn’s fashion guru early on, but later on, Quinn is now choosing the outfits she wants to wear. She is also the reason why Quinn moved to the Valley, she helped Quinn to find a job and a home. She is originally from Sherman Oaks but moved to Lake Balboa, she is indeed from the Valley. She is obsessed with anything 60s, used to work on a film set and is currently a film archivist in California. Quinn loves talking with Corrinne and watching old sitcoms such as Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie and Gilligan's Island, she also sometimes helps Quinn in baking knowing Quinn can follow the recipe.

Daniel LaRusso

- Daniel is Johnny’s then rival turned friend, their rivalry was gone (most of the time). Daniel thinks Quinn is a bright and smart lady, he does sometimes question about her relationship with Johnny but he knows that Quinn is an adult. He does like Quinn as a friend, he does enjoy helping Quinn when she questions about Italy since it is her dream to work in Rome or somewhere in Italy. He also teaches Quinn at times when speaking fluent Italian. He may be busy at times, but Quinn believes that Daniel is a good friend.

Samantha LaRusso

- Sam is a part of Quinn’s friend group, Sam does like Quinn especially when they hang out at times, they rarely hang out together since she sometimes visit California and she was studying in Okinawa that time, but she doesn’t think Quinn is bad. She believes that Quinn is sweet, she does help Miguel too despite being ex lovers, she would travel to Okinawa from time to time when she needed and wanted too, she does bring Quinn some gifts too.

Amanda LaRusso

- Amanda became Quinn’s friend in the Valley and has connections since Sam is one of Quinn’s friends and sometimes helps Quinn and they talk and communicate about their struggles. She thinks Quinn is wonderful.

Robby Keene

- Robby is also part of Quinn’s friend group, but he and Quinn rarely interacted and didn’t really much talked. He still thinks Quinn is a good person. He is still in process about his dad being in a relationship with Quinn.

I could imagine Quinn’s home in California and Greenwich to be just like this and yes since she is part of a rich town in her childhood, Quinn is affluent and trained as a virtuoso and she can play the violin, harp, cello etc.🩷
