SHIGATSU WA KIMI NO USO LIVE-ACTION MOVIE REVIEW~
Since it’s my second time to watch Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso Live-action and so done with it, I’m going to make a review of this live-action since I didn’t have the time (way back in December 14 when me and my friend Shams watched it on cinema in Robinsons) because of hectic schedules in our OJT and still have classes in school.
At first, my heart was so excited and beating fast because that was the first time that I’m going to see Kento on big screen to be honest and I really saved money for it. My friend Shamil Diesta accompanied me because she kept a promise that she’s going to watch it with me since she already finished the anime-version.
So, the movie really never made me feel dismayed. I am not saying this because I am a yamaken fan but if anyone who knows the anime happens to watch it, he or she would feel the same way. There were cut scenes. Yes, but it never made the movie a boring movie. I feel relieved because I expect that the movie will focus on Arima and Kaori’s life and they did. Kento Yamazaki (Kousei Arima) and Suzu Hirose (Kaori Miyazono) did a great job in the movie. Have heard that they practiced 6 months playing piano and violin. They were really a great pair for me because I know that both are cheerful people in real life. And also, Anna Ishi (Tsubaki Sawabe) and Taishi Nakagawa (Ryota Watari) did also a great job portraying the second lead roles.
The cinematography is 100% good. If you were to notice, the movie was calm and everyone will feel welcomed to watch.
The emotions were good also, not over-reacting. The cries were there and I really like Kaori’s crying moment and I felt like lost because she’s gonna leave Arima anytime soon. :’( (That was hard!).
The movie also showcases Friendship and a little bit of Romance when Arima confesses to Kaori at the rooftop of the hospital (I really felt like Kento is confessing to me puhahaha) and Kaori’s confession on the letter where I cried a lot about.
And the ending scenes, I like the way the director never wanted a sad ending but it appeared sad for me anyway. Huhuhuhu. But if you can notice, no one said that “Hey Kaori is dead” and no signs were displayed except when Tsubaki and Watari asked Arima if he is eating properly would make a thinking that something happened to Kaori, yes, but for those who have watched the anime, they know that Kaori will be dead soon. So it appeared less sad anyway. But it was sad. yes it was :’’’’’’’’’’’’(
Well, what I learned is you can still enjoy life when you still have time to enjoy it. I learned to value friends and think of your happy moments together and not the bad ones. If you lose a friend, you still have some. But if no one’s left, you can make some.
I just realized that life will give us the one that we deserve, the one who we can learn from with and the one that will change us forever.
So I guess this is the fruit of watching sensible movies. You can actually learn from those movies you’ve watched, whether it’s good or bad, you can learn from it.
SO YEAH, THUMBS UP FOR THIS MOVIE. YEY!
