On a Windows machine, an unchecked "Save Password" option is the most common cause of Chrome failing to save your passwords. You can easily resolve this problem if you follow these simple steps:
Open the Chrome browser on your PC.

Continue scrolling down and click the "Passwords" option under the "Autofill" column.
