the change of plans being a blessing in disguise bc I got a migraine last night which just subsided meaning I wouldn’t have made it to the theater anyways lol

saw TO but won’t be watching BND tomorrow bc again, and you guessed it, change of plans, Idk if I’ll get to watch it by the weekend but I doubt it tbh, probably will have to wait til next week and I want to give my thoughts on both in one post so you’ll have to wait till then if you’re interested in that, sorry

I don’t thing Toms honesty is a problem from a PR perspective. Robert Pattinson for example has been hating on his own acting and projects for years and people love and respect him and his acting. People these days want to see honesty and personality and that’s exactly what tom is giving them right now🤷‍♀️

You criticise his choice in projects, what he’s saying, his team,… like why are you always so pressed? I understand that we as fans don’t agree with everything he’s doing, but atp I feel like everytime you post something it’s something negative. Just enjoy the presstour and all the content we’re getting without being stressed out with everything like you’re part of his PR team..

We can’t control the haters and nor can he or his PR team. They don’t care what he’s saying or what projects he takes on, they‘ll always find something to hate on….and you’re starting to be like them

I’m not even participating or engaging in content from the press tour to be “enjoying” it in any shape or form, I’m just commenting on stuff I do come across while scrolling through social media, if I was more involved, I probably would have had more “positive” posts lol

also from what I have seen from these press tours, I gotta say that I need Tom to stop being so self deprecating like yesterday (for some reason he has really dialed it up this time around), it will start to bite him in the ass like I know it’s mostly humorous but people are way too damn stupid for that

That’s just being an actor. I did several shows in college that I was like, “this is not as good as it could be” but you still do the performance, you still try to get people to come and you learn from it.

Every actor has been In a “bad” show and many have spoken openly about at least one project they have done that they look back on and go that was not good. Amanda Seyfried openly talked about a movie she did just for the paycheck and that it was really bad.

that’s not the point, my point is why even mention it? you’re just opening up flood gates of internet nonsense with it, nothing else, it serves no purpose besides putting these two projects on an extremely high pedestal once again which reenforces the whole “he finally got something right” agenda 💀 a very head scratching moment there imo

I love hearing it. He’s human. I would much rather hear that he has the same experience as other actors, then paint a fake reality that every movie he has done is perfect

One of the reasons I like him is because he is honest, it’s refreshing.

Being an actor and hearing an actor on such a high level has also had to promote something he was not proud of is something every actor has gone through and makes you feel seen.

I don’t care if film twitter makes fun of him, because every actor will sit there and tell you they have been there. And sometimes that’s what you need to hear as an actor trying to make it or work in the business, it’s relatable.
