Some art of my OCs Maxi and Raúl! They're a couple of chilean college students who are huge otakus in the year of 2009.
Raúl (dark brown hair) is a computer science student. He's an introvert and loves mecha and psychological anime, he's also a j-rock/visual-kei fan. However, he hides his hobbies and is very insecure.
Maxi (blonde hair) is a graphic desing student. He's energetic and a little intense. He's into jpop, j-fashion, shoujo manga and parapara dancing. He is very open about his tastes, which has exposed him to people's prejudices.
I want to explore how they both overcome their insecurities together, finding a safe place in each other. All of this in a time when being an otaku was something most people didn't understand and was seen as strange.
