So my brother Steve is dead. My first thought. Fuck you Covid! It was too much for this “one of a kind” precious soul. Hard to imagine this life without him. The first out of 6 to go. All he really required of his life was to play music. As his siblings we sometimes referred to him as “the pioneer” because as the oldest kid he was a first for many things including how much our parents would tolerate a teenager. Like a pioneer he laid out the path ahead. We love you forever Steve 🎸❤️👏😔😞🤙❤️🎼
A 2018 single one off blues number blended with ambientism. I’m still whinin about it 🚂

No such thing in the universe I’m currently residing in. Nice idea maybe you can tell my overlords to observe it.

Paying the piper for a lifetime spent on music
Have we learned nothing in the last 365 days?
Cyber Monday November 27, 2017....New beginnings....again. Morning pumpkin roll, Angelic Skies celebration ideas, video planning....more papers to deliver...housework, and the Monday afternoon trash party. Originally I’d planned a reboot of this blog some time back this year and thought I’d start it again a month ago the morning after attending the King Crimson October 29, 2017 concert in Washington, DC as a “way of doing things” as Robert Fripp, of King Crimson, has said of his group. However every day stuff we deal with and procrastination in healthy doses has held me off from blogging.
I would not even mention the Crimson connection and rather start with a new thought towards Advent or something were it not for the fact that I had a dream of talking with Robert Fripp last night. I’ll only go as far as saying it was not a very inspiring dream but they’ve always been a favorite of mine. Always had a strong connection with the group by way of being a musician and the “way of life” aspect of the group. And of course Robert Fripp whom among others I learned how to blog or keep a diary unbeknownst to them just by reading what they’ve written throughout the years and the importance of keeping one.
So whats of interest that I’m writing? Don’t know exactly where I’m going with it yet. I’ll have a clearer idea as the week ends out with some dreaded medical procedures out of the way. I’ve got new music ideas almost done, not done including my 20th Anniversary celebration of my 1997 release “Angelic Skies”. I will continue writing to see what evolves and I encourage anyone reading this to do the same. So today I’ll stop here by saying keep blogging, keep talking, and don’t believe the hype. Its just that. Yeah Cyber Monday huh?
This year I've had the privilege of being part of the Swoody Records "Homemade Holidays Compilation 2014" which features 13 independant artists from around the World. I'm happy that they've included my arrangement of "Noel Nouvelet" aka known as "A Coventry Carol" or moreover "Sing we Now Of Christmas" Listen for Free on Bandcamp and download the whole album at a "Name Your Price" offer.
