The Guts Legacy Challenge

Nearly three years to the day since I first posted the Sour Legacy Challenge and Guts is finalllllly ready for you (never thought I'd see the day) 😭🤘✨

Same drill as before: the rules are lax, make this your own, take it slow or fast, use lots of mods and cheats or don't, I don't care—my only hope is that this helps you tell a creative, chaotic story in our favorite little dollhouse game.

Note for gen 1: if you don't have the sticky fingers aspiration in your game, I recommend fabulously wealthy or mansion baron!

🎶✨ Welcome to Mixtape Generations: The Legacy Challenge! ✨🎶

I'm so excited to share this legacy challenge I've been working on! Welcome to the Mixtape Generations. This legacy challenge encompasses all of my favourite gameplay objectives which I wanted to share with the Sims community! They may be ones you love too or ones you don't normally play.

This challenge is based upon Vibes & Fame. Each generation is a Mixtape, a genre with a story and a completely different vibe. The idea is that each generations sim, persona, styles and attitude is in the vibe of the Mixtape Genre.

Each Mixtape Generation has their traits, career, aspiration, relationship, babies and fame requirements. Then come the Rules. There are the Rules and then the Hidden Tracks which are rules that make the game trickier, weirder, wackier or more exciting.

I've created 10 visual graphics of the Mixtape Generations but here is a link for the text post which has more detailed storylines and information.

I'm also going to make Sims for each generation that will be available in the gallery or in a Patreon Collection.

(EN) SIMS 4 Monster High Legacy Challenge!!!

Hi guys! First post on tumblr, kinda excited. For a long time I've been struggling with attempting new Sims 4 legacy challenges, as I couldn't find any that also go into newer packs. I've played Not So Berry a bunch of times (never actually finished lol), and it inspired me to go into a rabbithole of legacy challenges. Before we start, this challenge was inspired by a Sims 3 Monster High challenge made by simmingsamantha.tumblr.com. I took A LOT of inspiration (especially in the beggining) when making this challenge, so please, make sure to check them out. <3 This challenge was made inspired by my fav characters from Monster High. You don't need to make your sims look like the dolls, there's specific color suggestions but also - you don't need to follow them. Play the challenge the way YOU are going to enjoy it! NOW ONTO THE BASIC RULES! 1. Normal lifespan, 2. No cheats, unless stated otherwise, 3. I suggest using the color combos provided to make the game look more interesting, 4. Every generation is supposed to complete their career and aspiration (unless stated otherwise). 5. For two legacies I am using mods to expand the occult gameplay - they're going to be linked next to the generations. You don't have to use them.

GENERATION 1: Frankie Stein traits: clumsy, lovebug, insider career: Engineer -> Mechanical Branch aspiration: Reneissance sim (don't finish it) • Max the robotics and cross-stitching skills • Get 5 additional skills to level 5 • Master the Mechanical Branch of the Engineer career • Create a Servo and befriend them • Have 3 good friends and 2 best friends • Have a dog, name it "Watzit". Give it age down treats every time it becomes an elder, until you become an elder • Have 5 rats throughout your life and name them "Gwen, Gaga, Green day, Girlicious and Ghostface Killah" • Have only one kid via adoption! colors are black, white and neon blue

GENERATION 2: Draculaura traits: vegetarian, cheerful, romantic career: Actor aspiration: Soulmate

• Max the writing, acting and romance skills • Reach lvl 10 of your career • Be a good vampire! • Only eat plasma fruits - never dine on sims! • In school, join drama club, later cheer team • Marry your highschool sweetheart who is a werewolf • Play guitar and write romance novels • Have a black cat names "Count Fabulous", dress it in pink clothes • Have many kids colors are pink and black

GENERATION 3: Clawdeen Wolf traits: creative, non-commital, hot-headed career: Style Influencer -> Stylist aspiration: Admired Icon (teen), Romantic Explorer • Max the writing, painting and dancing skills • Master the Stylist Branch of the Style Influencer career • Be a werewolf and join a werewolf pack • Have a good relationship with your siblings • Tame the inner beast, aquire "Lunar Resistance" trait • Never marry! • Once a week go thrifting and clubbing • Have one kid only colors are purple and gold

GENERATION 4: Deuce Gorgon traits: active, bro, paranoid career: Athlete -> Pro Athlete aspiration: Party Animal

• Max the selvadoradian culture, cooking and fitness skills • Master the Pro Athlete Branch of Athletic career • Be human (cheat for that if needed) • Become a football team Captain • Have a basketball team • Always wear sunglasses (even to bed) • Complete the fossils collection • Date a snobish sim • Have a bad relationship with your mother, but a great one with your aunt and cousin, visit them often in Selvador • Have a pet rat named "Perseus" color is green

GENERATION 5: Lagoona Blue* traits: outgoing, child of the ocean, loves nature career: Diver aspiration: Beach Life

• Max gardening, logic and herbalism skills • Master the Green Technician branch of the Civil Designer career • As a second aspiration choose Freelance Botanist or Friend of Nature (MOD)* • Be a PlantSim (you may cheat)* • Clean Sulani • Complete the Axolotl collection • Have many failed relationships due to you being a PlantSim, finally settle down with a loyal sim • Your home is full of recycled or fabricated stuff • Have an agressive looking dog named "Chewliah" • EXPLORE THE PLANTSIMS EXPANDED MOD!* colora are neon green with pink

• Max rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding skills • Live in Mt. Komorebi and alwats go to festivals! • Always throw Christmas parties and invite family • Complete the simmies collection - have at least 1 gold simmy! • Have only one friend (besides your partner) • Marry a hot-headed sim from Sulani • have a fluffy pet called "Shiver" colors are pastel blue with white

GENERATION 8: Ghoulia Yelps traits: geek, genius, bookworm career: see below* aspiration: Goal Oriented (teen), Academic

• Max programming, video gaming and logic skills • Earn at least one University degree (of your chosing), that's your job!* earn most money by hacking • Have no friends until High School • Become a chess team captain! • Complete mySims trophies collection • Collect microscope and space prints • Always take part in GeekCon GamingTest and Hackathon • Die and get ressurected at any point of your life (that's how you become a zombie) colors are red, black and blue

GENERATION 9: Spectra Vondergeist traits: loner, kleptomaniac, nosy career: Social Media -> PR aspiration: drama llama (teen), seeker of secrets

• Max charisma, thanatology and medium skills • Max PR branch of Social Media career • Make friends ONLY by using Social Bunny • Collect all tarot cards • Become a ghost, complete your bucket list! • Become a landlord, spy on your renters and steal from them! • Romance Grim Reaper?! • Have a ghost pet called "Rhuen" • Have two (human) kids colors are purple and magenta

GENERATION 10: Cleo De Nile traits: snob, self-absorbed, materialistic career: Politician aspiration: World Famous Celebrity

• Max charisma, gemology and nectar making skills • Become the world leader and be 5 star famous! • Have a strained relationship with your sister • Find your soulmate in High School, break up after graduating. Date around as a young adult - never anything serious. Recconect as adults • Never decline an invitation • Throw a party every week, enjoy your life! • Complete the crystals collection • Have a polar opposite BFF • Have AS MANY sphinx cats as possible!!! colors are gold, blue and brown

A LEGACY THAT IS NEVER BORING!!👩🏼‍🌾

Introduction:

This is the Never Get Bored Legacy Challenge, a ten-generation legacy that is meant to make you “never get bored” of your sims again! Each generation has some form of drama that you will have to decide what happens next. To make you obsessed with the Sims 4 again!!

Requirements:

This legacy challenge uses most of the packs. This is the Un-Modded version. There is a modded version if you’d prefer to play that!

Rules:

-You can play on any lifespan you want I recommend Normal or Long!

-Complete all the goals for each generation. Dress your sims in the colors for that specific gen.

-You can skip certain goals or gens if you don’t have the pack!

- No cheating money unless it’s at the beginning to start the challenge. No cheating skills, career etc. this is a challenge!

-No adjusting or changing the legacy challenge!

Before You Play:

This legacy challenge has realistic fiction elements that may be uncomfortable or triggering. For some people this legacy challenge is meant for people sixteen and older!

Gen.1 Farmer Who Falls In Love Struggles and Has an Affair👩🏻‍🌾❤️‍🔥

You are a sim who loves nature and everything it has to offer. So you try to achieve that dream of living in the wild. You move to Henford on Bagley and suddenly you're mesmerized by the beauty which the world holds. You garden and own a farm tending to it day by day. You do that till one day your life changes when you meet someone. With the same outlook on life as you! You marry them, have kids and they become all you think about. Now you're so busy with your family your farm starts to suffer. So to avoid your farm from dying and your family. You have an affair… With a rich sim who can save you and your partner's farm. You manage to save your farm and pay bills but what happens now. Will your partner find out or will you go on and still be with them?

Gen.1 Requirements: 

Lifestage: Young Adult

Traits: Animal Enthusiast, Non-Commitol  and Vegetarian

Aspiration: Country Caretaker 

Colors: Green and Light Blue

Career: Gardener

Starting Out:

Live in Henford on Bagley 

Start In a Small Rundown Cottage 

Start with Zero Simoleons 

Goals: 

-Be in the Gardener career reach level five of the career.

-Max the Gardening and Parenting Skills 

-Plant a beautiful garden full of watermelons, lettuce, pumpkins, Aubergines etc.

-Have at least one cow or llama 

-Have at least two chickens 

-Make money from your farm by selling your produce, fruits and vegetables. Also by selling your eggs and milk your livestock make.

-Meet someone who loves nature like you, marry them and have at least two kids. 

-Neglect your farm after you start your family. 

-Have an affair with a rich sim who can save your dying farm.

-Move your affair partner in and take their money. Or divorce your spouse and marry your affair partner for money.

-Decide the fate of your sims relationship and family. 

Gen.2 Cheerful Chef Blows Bubbles and Quits their Job to Flip Waffles🫧🧇

You grew up on a farm with parents who loved their family. Now you're a foodie sim who is full of hope and very cheerful. You move out of your cozy cottage with your family. To Willow Creek where the grass is still green but you're on your own. Away from family you take a chance and get a job as a chef. You enjoy it but it becomes stressful and your head starts to go crazy. So you try the bubble blower. To calm your nerves then one night you become inspired to make homemade waffles. That becomes your new favorite thing to make. Soon you realize that your job isn’t fulfilling. As you originally thought. So you quit and make waffles and sell them at your food stall. You're so thankful to your party animal friend for helping you realize. That you were stuck in your job. So you go out with them to a bar. You drink and blow bubbles so much, you woohoo all night. You wake up and don’t remember Because you're too juiced to recollect anything. After that night you find out you're pregnant. And you're okay with that but what about your Party Animal hookup? Will you tell them what will they think? Will you two be together? It's up to you?!

Gen.2 Requirements:

Traits: Foodie, Cheerful and Erratic

-Move to Willow Creek as a Young Adult

-Reach Level 4 of the Culinary Career then quit.

-Finish the Market Magnante Aspiration

-Make Waffles and more to sell at your food stall. 

-Own a Bubble Blower to help calm you!

-Have woohoo with your Party Animal friend after a night at the bar.

-Get pregnant by your Party Animal Friend.

-You decide what happens next, tell the friend you're pregnant or not!

Gen.3 Style Influencer That is Famous for Sleeping with a Celebrity👗⭐❤️‍🔥

Growing up your parents always kept the house smelling good. With the smell of waffles. But you weren’t ever interested in that kind of pleasure. You just want to make people look beautiful so you leave your parents' bubble filled home. To a not so pleasant apartment building or apartment in the city. That’s filled with many rodents. This isn’t what you expected but you stick it through. You become a style influencer. You thought you would be styling and living it up! But it doesn’t go as you expected, So you take a look at options online for easy money. You take a couple of odd jobs from strangers. That makes you some money but one day. You meet a celebrity in need of a favor company for the night. You are single and lonely in the city so you accept their advances. Then before you know it you're famous! But not for your sense of fashion! You're famous for sleeping with a celebrity! Now with your fame you use it to your advantage. Doing all you can to get your clothing sketches out there to become real! Now you're a big shot style influencer in love with someone stylish like you! And have children who you hope will never learn. About how you became famous for the wrong reasons. You meet up with your celebrity hookup who made you famous. Will it end as just friends or an affair? The choice is yours to make!

Gen.3 Requirements:

Lifestage: Young Adult

Traits: Self Assured, Lovebug and Creative

Aspiration: World Famous Celebrity

Colors: Hot Pink and Purple

Career: Style Influencer

Goals:

-Move to an apartment building in any world or regular apartment in the city.

-Join the Style Influencer career and reach level 5 in the career.

-Do odd jobs to make money on the side.

-Max Painting, Romance Skills and Reach Level Five in the Charisma Skill.

-Be a level One Celebrity for the wrong reasons. Sleeping with a celebrity! (You can cheat this part for story purposes.)

-Own a Small Bussiness Hair Salon that obtains a three star level. Once you reached level 5 in your career. You can quit your job after that to work at the salon!

-Reach level Four Celebrity Status

-Marry a High Maintenance Sim

-Have at least two children

-Meet up again with your celebrity hookup. Decide if things stay friendly or get spicy once again!

Gen.4 Inadequate Athlete Loses Confidence and Becomes a Teacher🥊🍎

You're bad to the bone and your parents knew it. Your parent made people look pretty. But all you want to do is bruise them up. As a kid and teen you were always a rebel never being close with your family. Now as a young adult you're going to the gym staying there all night. You become an Athlete you may not be a professional. Yet but you got a “body made of iron” ready for action. All the way through your young adult life. You become well known for your tough personality and for how great a Athlete you are. But something happens as an adult your body doesn’t do what it used too. So you lose your confidence and become a teacher to kids who are trouble. Just like you were but you meet a coworker who raises your self esteem. You two go out and it all goes well but you're not into getting married. Though so that’s as far as it goes and your partner is okay with that. You both decide to have a baby. It seems like you have a nice family but then you and your partner break up. Now you're left with a child you don’t know how to parent. You're a teacher, that doesn’t mean you're a role model. Will you try and teach your child? Or will you give up and let them be how they're going to be, and become a bad parent? The choice is yours!

Gen.4 Requirements:

Lifestage: Young Adult 

Traits: Mean, Self Assured and Gloomy

Aspiration: Body Builder

Colors: Red and Blue

Career: Athletic

Goals:

-Have a bad relationship with your family.

-Move out to any world you want.

-Join the Athletic Career and Reach Level 6 of the career.

-Quit the Athletic Career as an Adult and Join the Education Career Reach Level 5.

-Reach Level 8 in the Fitness Skill and Reach Level 5 in the Research and Debate Skill.

-Workout at the Gym Twice a Week boxing.

-Have a workout room in your house/apartment

-Meet a Coworker in the Education Career Date them and have a baby with them.

-Have at least one child

-Break up with your partner

-Decide to try to be a good parent..or not the choice is yours!

Gen.5 Chess Legend That Has a Big Ego♟😏

You are a genius despite how mean your parent was. You turned out okay but as a child and teen you both had rough patches. But no matter what issues you and your parent had. You always leaned on chess. To settle your nerves about being raised by an inadequate athlete who is now a bad teacher. You challenge others to chess and end up being in your opinion the best. Not everyone agrees but that’s fine with you! In high school your ego got the best of you. Since being such a genius, you quit going to school. You felt you learned everything what’s left to know!? Now you're a teen living your life as a “chess legend.” On your own cause you left home. But you get a job not one that is something you particularly like. But it pays after all you're meant to be a chess player. So, when you're a young adult you mentor others in logic. Proving to others that you are the best! You start to become a professional chess player! But your ego gets the best of you like most things do. So, to settle it, you find someone online on cupid's corner dating app. Chat with them, they become your friend and then it leads to more. You marry and have kids but barely notice they’re there. Because you're too focused on being a chess champ. But your partner is annoyed by you neglecting them and your kids. So what about your partner and you!? Will you both work it out or will they take the kids if you both divorce! Your ego may once again get the best of you! 

Gen.5 Requirements 

Lifestage: Start as a Teen

Traits: Genius, and Neat (Add Self Absorbed as a young adult.)

Aspiration: Renaissance Sim

Colors: Black and White

Career: Lawyer

Goals:

-Have a complicated relationship with your parent. (Depends how bad it is based on your choice last Gen.) 

-Do not Graduate high school because of your big ego.

-Move out to any world in an apartment or house as a teen.

-Have a job that’s not what you enjoy such as retail or barista.

-Play chess on your own and with others as a teen. (You can create a chess club with get together.)

-Max the Logic Skill

-Mentor others in Logic at least 5 times!

-Meet someone on the cupid's corner app. Date, marry and have kids with them.

-Have at least one child

-Neglect your Child/Children and partner to focus on being a chess legend!

-Decide if you and your partner stick through it together. For your kids to stay together or decide to let your ego take over. And divorce and split up the kids. The choice is yours!

Gen.6 Hopeless Romantic Photographer Gets Their Heartbroken and Becomes a Loner📷💔

You are the total opposite of yourself absorbed parent who only cares about chess. As a kid and teen you were very outgoing a true people pleaser. Now as a young adult you desire a soulmate to support you with your photo taking hobby. So like the movies you meet someone at a bar one night while you were by yourself drinking. They immediately sweep you off your feet and buy you a few drinks. You end up getting tipsy and have woohoo with them. All you remember is that it was amazing you were a virgin. They took it from you and you're okay with that. Because you love them you feel that you both have true love at first sight. So you ask them out, they say yes but little do you know how toxic they will be. For you, you go out with them and things seem amazing. It seems like you’ve found your soulmate but after finding out you're pregnant. You tell them and they emotionally scar you! They don’t want kids and want nothing to do with you. They used you so you're left all alone heartbroken. Taking pictures of nature because that’s what calms you. You turn it into a career to make something of your life now that your heart got “ripped out!” You become a loner raising your child on your own. You never thought you’d be a single parent but here you are! Do you decide to stay a loner forever and focus on your child? Or do you at some point find somebody who understands your untrusting ways? The choice is yours to make!

Gen.6 Requirements

Lifestage: Young Adult

Traits: Romantic, Creative and Clumsy (Switch Romantic for Loner after your heartbroken) 

Aspiration: Soulmate

Colors: Light Purple and Midnight Blue

Career: Freelance Photographer

Goals:

-Live in a Cozy Small Home in any world

-Be in the Freelance Photographer Career 

-Max the Photography Skill and Reach Level 5 of the Charisma Skill.

-Go to a bar and meet your “true love!”

-Woohoo with them, date them and end up pregnant.

-Tell them you're pregnant and they react poorly and you break up.

-Become a Loner (switch the Romantic trait out for Loner.)

-Be a single parent 

-Decide if you stay a loner and focus on your child. Or if you find somebody the choice is yours!

Gen.7 Personal Trainer Who is Obsessed with Looking Buff💪🏻🥦

You were raised in a hopeless home but full of love by your single parent. As a child and teen you were always interested in playing sports. Now as a young adult you’ve found a love for not someone but something. Training athletes to become the top dog at whatever they're doing. You move to a trailer in Oasis Springs, perfect just for you and your dog. Who stays right beside you. Together you spend your days going for runs. Training yourself to be the best personal trainer you can be! You own and run a gym. Where you make sure everyone takes care of their body. Along the way you get side tracked by a handsome/beautiful someone your training. You show off your muscles and ask them out. You date and things go well they want you to make them. Into a perfect athlete you get pressured so under pressure. You start eating super healthy and your muscles start grow. Now you're the best trainer but at what cost. You're obsessed with your body image and how people perceive it. You and your trainee. Work out because you prepared them to take over the sports world. Ya’ll marry and have kids but now you're getting really buff. From all the vegetables you keep eating do you stop? Or do you continue and look like a cartoon muscle figure?!

Lifestage: Young Adult 

Traits: Vegetarian, Bro and Self Assured

Aspiration: Body Builder

Colors: Grey and Navy

Career: Athlete

Goals:

-Move to Oasis Springs into a Trailer

-Join the Athletic career and reach Level 10 of the career.

-Max the Fitness and Wellness Skills

-Get distracted romantically by one of your Trainee’s.

-Start eating healthy by only eating things on the vegetarian cooking list.

-Own a Gym of your own 

-Date and Marry your Coworker

-Have at least one child

-Go to the gym and workout routinely 

-Decide if you want to continue to eat healthy to stay looking muscly or decide to stop?! Start eating unhealthily instead? The choice is yours!!

Gen.8 Tattoo Artist Who Discovers Their a Witch/Wizard💘🔮

Your parent was the greatest personal trainer but you aren’t athletic, you're an artist. Growing up you were always drawing after school or even during. When class became too boring though you managed to graduate. So you could go off to college. Studying art was what you truly thought would lift you up. But you keep having this feeling there’s something strange about you. You make it through the first couple semesters of college till. One day you start to feel like a place called Glimmerbrook is calling you. So you take a break from school to go off to some possible. Made up place to figure out what this weird Ora is your feeling. You travel to Glimmerbrook and see a portal at the edge with a waterfall. You travel through and are stunned by what you've seen. A witch meets up with you and tells you were chosen. To be a witch/wizard it’s in your DNA from a long line of witches and wizards. In your family you can’t believe it because your family is mortal. But they assure you not your whole family is or was. They bless you and unlock your power so afterwards you learn magic. On your own in a home in Glimmerbrook where you can roam. Sadly college wasn’t your calling but you become a tattoo artist. Walking amongst mortals everyday keeping you’re cool. Only using magic when you're on your own. But this power has become a lot to handle now that you feel. That you want to meet someone, have a love life and not end up alone. There’s a human at work who has their loving eyes on you. So do you decide to keep your power and risk being alone forever? Or do you meet someone who is a witch/wizard like you. Be in an arranged relationship/marriage. To keep your magical life a secret or do you give up your magical abilities. To live a mortal life with someone you could really love.

Traits: Skeptical, Art Lover and Lovebug

Aspiration: Spellcraft and Sorcery

Colors: Mauve and Gold

Career: Tattoo Artist

Goals:

-Go off to college, be in the Fine Arts Degree do well but only make it through a couple semesters.

-Go to Glimmerbrook to and talk to a witch about your weird ora’s and become a witch/wizard.

-Max the Tattooing Skill

-Complete the Spellcaster and Sorcery aspiration

-Drop Out of university and move to Glimmerbrook.

-Own a Tattoo Parlor be a Tattoo Artist

-Practice magic on your own daily 

-Meet a mortal who has their loving eyes on you. Decide if you give up your powers to be with them? Or if you keep your powers and end up alone? Or be with a witch/wizard that is arranged. The choice is yours to make!!

-If you decide to end up alone, have a science baby.

You went head first into grave digging No college needed! They're in need of new people to help them bury bodies whom have no name. So you don’t question it and grab a shovel. You do well solving crazy schemes of these bodies your coworkers underestimated you! But now you’ve proven you are more than a grave digger. So ya’ll go out for drinks at a lounge. There you meet a shady person who. You couldn’t help but stare at they were beautiful/handsome. In the most supernatural way possible but you didn’t know why? You sit with them and talk they are taken by you and you them. After that night the only time you both see each other. Is at night and you start to wonder what kind of mysterious things. Their doing that causes them to only meet up with you at night. Things start to go in a risky direction with your dark figured love interest. Warns you before you both get intimate that they are not human. You were a bit shook by the news but it slowly faded. As you kissed and woohooed with them. The next morning you were feeling a lot of emotions as you saw your dead mysterious lover. Lifeless when they were just making love to you last night. Now you don’t know what to do!? You leave the house and head to work with a secret that could be the death of you too!! You keep the secret and go on with your life. Meet somebody who’s definitely human, date, marry and have kids with them. Become a very detective quitting digging graves to dig into crime cases! But it dons on you sometimes. How did your mysterious lover die?? Will you ever tell anyone the truth of what happened? Would your partner be weirded out by it!? Or will you bury it with you and hide their grave/ashes?? The choice is yours to make!!

As a child and teen you played pranks on your family and friends. Enjoying stealing kids lunch money and cash from your parents piggy bank. You don’t pass not one class in high school.  But you go to this candy shop everyday! Known all around this very famous family owns it. And you have your eyes set on the owner to steal their candy cotted crown away! So as a Young Adult you join the criminal career to find out how to steal! That beloved candy shop away from those snobby sweets family! You charm your way into one of the owners' hearts. Just enough to get them to wanna give you a ring! Once you have it you feel unstoppable like a real villain who’s going to get the crown! You marry them and have a family. Then one night you feed them dinner. Poorly made Pufferfish Nigeria which poisons them. Now is finally your time to take over the candy empire! Will everyone find out what you did or will you get away with murderous deeds! -Decide if people find out what you did! Do you tell them or your kids? Or just be satisfied with your Candy Shop Empire you stole!? The choice is yours to make!

- Open a vet office and get it to 5 stars

Pro Tip: For posing, you can raise the Teleporter by hitting “CTRL” + “)” at the same time. This is how I placed the sims on the bed above!

I used an open room concept, much like @smartmilkboxes, but made the rooms bigger (3 floors high) and maxed out their height. For windows, I used the biggest windows available- since they don’t size up well. You can see my example here!

The Astrology Legacy

This is a legacy where each generation is inspired by the twelve astrological signs. This legacy can be played as a Vanilla, Banilla, or Berry Sweet save depending on your play style preferences. Each generation has colors associated with it that need to be incorporated in some fashion, whether that be the color scheme for your sims home, wardrobe, or the sim themselves. In parenthesis I have added suggested colors from my palette.

Unlike most legacy challenges, in this one you may start with any of the signs, but the generations must remain in the same order (for example, if you start with Virgo then the Libra generation must come after, followed by Scorpio, ect. and the challenge would end at the end of the Leo generation. Aries would come after Pisces so imagine these in a loop instead of a line). Depending what sign you choose to start with you may want to start with your founder as an age younger than YA.

ok hi!!! lets get started! this legacy challenge is made 4 my darling @foursims ♥

you need: the Get Famous EP

if you’re unsure of how the celebrity system works, a quick google will explain it all. it’s pretty important in this challenge! your goal in every gen is to maintain at least some sort of celebrity level and utilize the perks to your advantage. 

all rules and goals are not there to restrict your game play, only to enhance it. if you decide to add rules/goals to make it harder or to ignore them to make it easier/more enjoyable, please do - you don’t have to ask me permission lol! 

as mentioned, this is only part 1. i didn’t want to write a full 10 generation challenge because i wanted to test out 5 generations using the celebrity system first, as i’m not sure if it will become too boring or repetitive. there are still things i can include that increase fame so more gens may be made if you want them!

Gen 1: Ramsey 

you start this challenge as a teen.

you’ve recently just dropped out of university/college where you were studying cooking. education just wasn’t for you, and lets face it, you’re actually a pretty shit cook. you blamed your teachers for this; you say they weren’t any good! your parents didn’t believe you and disapproved of your decision to leave school. so you’re out on your own in the world! you decide to move to the Hollywood of sims in order to prove to your teachers and most importantly your family, that you will be the best and youngest chef!

traits: gloomy, foodie, hot headed

aspiration: master chef

your goals:

- get to level 10 cooking + gourmet cooking - get to at least level 5 baking - reach level 10 in the cooking career (food branch) - once you have maxed out your career (or feel you can do it during), you must buy and own a restaurant and have it reach at least 4 stars  - marry a co-worker. having the foodie trait also is a bonus!! - have 2 children - write at least 1 cook book - increase your celebrity level passively by posting on social media and visiting clubs ect.

Gen 2: Hepburn 

you were the popular girl/boy in school and lets be honest, you loved it. you were always picked first, always had a flock of sims crushing after you, and everyone wanted to be your friend. this increased your ego, and it followed you into later life.

traits: self-absorbed, outgoing, ambitious

aspiration: master actor 

your goals: 

- get to level 10 acting + charisma - get to at least level 5 comedy + dancing - marry another celebrity (no one less than your own celeb level) - reach maximum celebrity level (positive)  - have 5 children!!!!! - reach at least 50,000 followers on social media - reach level 10 of the acting career (your choice of producers ect.) - have an affair once all your children are born. keep this a secret forever… unless the paparazi catch you ;)  - win at least 2 award nights - become best friends with olivia and judith (the townies) + make a club with them

Gen 3: King

you were always in the spotlight, and you hated it. everyone wanted to be your friend because of your money and parents. all you wanted to do was be alone and read.

traits: non-committal, loner, bookworm

aspiration: best selling author 

your goals:

- reach level 10 writing + logic - reach at least level 5 in gardening  - reach level 10 writing career (author path) and then quit - basically all you do is write lols - marry for a little while - have 1 child (OR twins) - divorce when you reach adulthood - have an average friendship with your children, you aren’t that close 

Gen 4: Gogh

you didn’t really have the best relationship with your parents and you were made fun of at school because your parents were divorced. you turned to the only thing that really made you happy: painting and drawing

Gen 5: Rupaul

you had the best upbringing and had everything you ever asked for. you were surrounded by art as a child, and this flowed into your adult life with the need to be colorful and fashionable in every occasion.

- reach level 10 of the style influence career (either branch)  - maintain your celebrity profile by posting makeup and fashion videos  - fangirl over real celebs a LOT - run a club thats to do with art and fashion! A Berry Legacy Challenge

This is something that has been a while in the making for me. I love so many of the challenges that are out there, but I wanted something that fit my own gameplay and storytelling style. I want to, first, thank my lovely friends for the support, input, and advice in writing this (especially the two of you who are already shooting your legacy!) I love you all dearly!  @simmer-nebulas , @bizarreplumbobs , @volcanopasta , @asinglewallflower , @deadplumbobs , @lazarish , and @frost-rainbowcy . 

So what is this new legacy challenge adventure I am starting? Well, it’s one that explores, well, darker themes and colors than your normal Berry Legacy would. For that reason, it has affectionately been called “The Berry Sour Legacy”. A name that wouldn’t have been possible without the lovely @sweetlysimss and her amazing Sweet or Sour legacy.

Story

Due to economic decline and poor government funding of social programs, the population of many Sim-inhabited towns and cities have all but disappeared. Everyone has moved away to find greener pastures elsewhere, leaving their old homes nothing but a ghost town. Out of desperation to boost the population and get these towns thriving again, the United Nations has hand-picked two Sims who are willing to participate in a re-population program, tasking them with bringing the population back up through natural procreation while living the best, most fulfilling lives they possibly can. The project’s name? Operation BFAM (Be Fruitful And Multiply). The subjects? Adam and Eve.

Objective

Start with two Sims, one that can become pregnant and one that can impregnate other Sims and use them to fill a completely empty world. The challenge ends when every household in the world is occupied by at least one direct descendant of your two original Sims.

Sweet or Sour Berry Legacy Challenge - Rules

I personally adore Berry Sweet challenges, which is why I came up with the “Sweet or Sour Berry Legacy Challenge”! This challenge is all about choices. It is a 5 generations, EP oriented berry sweet legacy with a twist, adapting different berry sweet legacy rules, such as from the berry pastel rainbowcy challenge and the pastel patisserie challenge, but adding my own twist to it!

The first generation is most important. It’s where you either choose to continue on the challenge as a “Sweet” sim, following more botanical and artistic rules, or that of a “Sour” sim, following more experimental and challenging rules. There are no color restrictions on either choice, just traits/aspirations. Each generation has one main objective that needs to be completed before moving on to the next generation. All other rules are obligatory but do add a challenge to the generations.

Disclaimer: Obviously you’re allowed to alter the challenge however you want! This is supposed to be a free and fun challenge and I’d love to see how different people take on the rules :)

this challenge spans over 5 generations but feel free to stop whenever you’d like or continue onto making your own gens with the left out signs 

ofc i’ve only used 5 signs so im sorry if yours is left out, it wasnt for any reason

some of the traits might seem a little “off” because i tried to not use the same trait twice and so went for something close but not exactly correct

i’ve planned another 5 gens to make the legacy a full 10-gen legacy but i’ll see how this is taken first! 

rules:

your sims can look however you like

all cheats are allowed apart from giving your household extra moneys (yes even free real estate, but ONLY when moving heirs or giving siblings/parents new houses, not in the middle of a generation for a bigger house)

each generation should be completed before moving your heir (or previous heirs) out 

gen 1: aries 

your sim has come from a wealthy family that lived in willow creek. they ran a factory that brought in heaps of money. however, after your father passed away, and your mother became ill, the business fell into bankrupcy. unable to work due to caring for your mother, and being an only child, you struggle imesnley with money. when your mother passes away, you miss her greatley, but also feel a massive weight lift from your shoulders. you can finally live your life again. you decide to start fresh in a new city and dream of living the luxurious life that your parents had.

traits: hot-headed, confident, snob aspiration: fabulously wealthy

make one (1) young adult sim, male or female

move them into the city into a tlc aparment: unfurnished!! 

use the cheat: testingcheats on, and then, money 5000 to set your household funds to 5,000 simoleans. these funds are your starting amount to decorate your house and give your sim their basic needs.*

your goal is to do anything and everything you can in order to make money… within reason

this includes your day job in the business career (either branch) up to level 10

you should have 1 enemy that is a co-worker 

you should marry a co-worker and be married as an adult

once you marry your co-worker you are allowed to swap their job

if they stay in the business career try to have them choose different branches

you have 2 children as an adult

you must reach level 10 handiness and charisma 

you must complete your aspiration

you must collect all snow globes

*this took forever to work for me! i dont know what i did to make it work. i tried simply typing money 5000 so many times (which is what you’re supposed to do), then tried  sims.modify_funds-5000, which didnt work, then sims.modify_funds - “money amount” without the quotation marks and then FINALLY simply typing in money 5000 worked! so idk if theres a need for sims.modify_funds to be entered before typing in money 5000??? who knows.

gen 2: taurus

your parents were very work orientated and, althought they loved you, you would’ve prefered them to show it through nurturing instead of gifts and money. your dream isn’t to have lots of money, but to have a happy family
