i like the phrases "it's not for me," "it's not my thing," and "i'm not the target audience" because they're the most concise way to express "this thing that you enjoy has merits but idgaf about it" without being aggressive

i hate the way fat antagonists have their weight moralized and used as a metaphor for greed and corruption and i hate the way it's overcorrected into fat people being "soft squishy friend-shaped cupcakes who look like they give incredible hugs" and i long for the day we have nuanced, interesting, and complicated fat characters and most of all i long for the day people are normal about fatness

Conservative beauty standards are back with a vengeance which means it's especially important to go out this summer with bellies out and bodies unshaved. Also be unapologetically disabled with mobility aids and wearable medical devices and stim toys and ear defenders and all that stuff. You need it. People need to see it. Everyone needs to be reminded that life is unquestioningly more enjoyable when you're not living inside an arbitrary set of rules created by people who are offended by all the wrong things.

Very tired. Veterinarian visits very expensive, but Xander has meds for his nausea until his ultrasound next week to see if anything can be found.

They said it's leaning towards cancer but can't verify unless they do an endoscopy for 1500$. Today's ultrasound was 600 and I approved for them to do further blood testing to rule out other possible issues that's another 400. Don't know how much the steroids he's being put on will be. I might ask for help with the endoscopy because things are getting really overwhelming, today alone took all the money from selling my collection of jewelry and belongings.
