“Okay, distance, we can definitely do that.” She hated that there was nothing she could do, wanting better for Eden in every way. She wanted to curse every person who made her girlfriend feel like shit but she knew that wasn’t possible. Araceli laughed softly as she got into the driver’s seat. “I mean I do but I’m telling you, you should see the house right now. Ada says they’ve never felt more single in their life,” she teased, reaching her hand over to rest on top of Eden’s as she pulled away and started to drive towards nowhere in particular. “I think Ada wants to talk to me about getting an apartment with them but hasn’t actually had the conversation yet.”
"Hey…" Eden said as she reclaimed one of Araceli's hands as she drove them, "I appreciate you." She kissed the back of her hand, "And I love you." She kissed it again, "And I promise I'm okay, okay? It's fucked up but I'm pretty tough so I can handle it." She'd be lying if she didn't say she hadn't thought about getting a place of her own with Araceli, but Eden could also get on board with her girlfriend living with her sister if it was something she was interested in doing, "Why do you think she's moving in that direction? And how do you feel about that ?"
