Prue was terrified and a little shake started showing in her knees when he brought her closer again. She was reassured by his words and their feelings and knew for a fact that they were meant to be together, after all a cupid had set them up, hadn’t she? She pulled away only to smile at him, “Yes, we will. Things will be okay, I know it. We got the cupids on our side for sure and I doubt my mom and aunts would let anyone touch us and- uhm- they’re kinda big ass witches you know”, she reassured in turn.

"I am sure. I- I’m late and hungry and moodier than usual and throwing up in the morning and dizzy and nose bleeds… a little witch is on her way", she mouthed out, unsure if she was meant to be happy, excited and terrified all at once. But so was he and there was this incredible sadness in him, in his eyes and his words… as if he knew this wouldn’t work, "The full moon is in two weeks, isn’t it? I’m not her Joss, I’m a cupid witch, it’s not gonna be the same love", she whispered looking up at him as her hand brushed his cheek.

He could feel her trembling, and all he wanted to do was cradle her until she knew everything was going to be alright. Maybe things would be. Josh let out a quick laugh, as he brushed a hand through her hair, resting it at the base of her neck. "That's good. It never hurts to have a couple bad ass witches on your side." He teased, though in all truth, it really was a good thing. 

Josh nodded, only wanting to hold her closer. A kid was something he wanted, but he feared it wasn't even possible. He offered her a small smile as she spoke of a little witch, but fear was still in the pit of his stomach. He looked down at her with furrowed eyebrows as she asked about the full moon, and then the same sadness filled his eyes when she talked about the past. "I know you're not her. You're better, and brighter, and you don't deserve to go through what she went through. Not that anyone deserves it.." He trailed off, not wanting to get into all of the details as to why he felt even more guilt about his ex and what he had made her become. "I just couldn't face myself if the same happens to you." He told her, looking her in the eye. "I hope it's enough. I hope having witches in the equation is enough to make it different this time." He spoke his thoughts aloud, still holding her tight in his arms.

Prue sighed and relaxed her shoulders when he held her in his arms tightly. It was hard to breath but she needed to feel she wasn’t alone, and that he wasn’t panicking, at least not about this. Setting her arms around his chest, she breathed him in and relaxed, “This is too soon, we’ve been together for a month Joss…” of course she’d have the baby, it was their baby, against all odds but still, they were barely starting the rest of their lives together. Or at least that’s how she felt…

Pulling only enough to see him, she pursed her lips together and looked up at him with furrowed eyebrows, “I think I am. But maybe my powers are expanding… it’s happened but it’s quite odd and everything else… the sickness and being dizzy and passing out… What are we gonna do?” she mouthed quietly taking a little breath. “Plus I wondered how the elders would take it… they’re not precisely open about couples… I just… I need crackers”

Josh agreed with her, in the sense that this was very soon, but then again, he knew in his heart that they were meant to be here, together. It wasn't the quickness of the pregnancy that scared him. It was the past, the one he had already been through, and the way it had ended. "We are strong, and together we will get through this." He promised her again. "I know we've only been together a short while, but so far, it's only felt right. We will get through this." He repeated.

He brought her back into him, he could tell she was in a panic, even though she was trying to hide it, which was something she did often, as if he wouldn't still love her if she didn't constantly keep her composure. "What we are going to do, is find out if you are for sure, and if you are, we will take it from there." He started. "And no matter what happened, I am going to love you." He finished. He furrowed his eyebrows. "That's something I wouldn't know much about. I'm sure we have some in the house." He offered.
