First Marathon Down!!! 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️ In lieu of the postponed @edinburghmarathonfestival ; @callum_sibbald and I decided not to put our months of training to waste and decided that we should run our own marathon but with our own little twist. In place of running the actual Edinburgh Marathon route, we decided to start our own marathon from Glasgow and eventually finish at @lomondtrossachs . It took us a while, but we got there, a little battered and little bruised, but we finished!! However, the running is not over this was the launch event for our fundraising campaign, to raise awareness for @bowelresearchuk for myself and @mentalhealthfoundation for Callum. Now that we’ve got a marathon under our belts, we are aiming to run 1000 kilometres each in preparation, before we line-up at the start line ahead of the Edinburgh Marathon in May 2021, to conclude this campaign!
