PART IV: LIVING THE LIFE OF A QUEEN

Living her life to the fullest at the age of 27. Maine is happily together with her king/boyfriend Arjo Atayde who is also a famous Filipino celebrity. 

Maine is very thankful towards GMA 7 and to her Eat Bulaga Family for giving her the opportunity to live the life that she's been living now. She is now a host of TV5' reality talent show called "POPinoy" with her Eat Bulaga co host Paulo Ballesteros, although Maine still appears as a host in the noontime show Eat Bulaga. She also appears in some commercials and television series.

Currently, Menggay owns five franchises of a famous fast food restaurant "Mc Donald's". 

From a young introverted woman who secretly dreams of becoming an actress to one of the most Famous celebrities in the Philippines and a well known entrepreneur. Maine do have a variety of skills that open up opportunities. In 10 Years she will be living a stable life. Happily married and has her own Family. She can be a bigger star than she is now because of her astounding talent.

Maine Mendoza. One of the most inspiring people that I know. It wasn't an easy way for Maine to live the life that she's been living now. She worked her way up to the top with her amazing talent of giving Joy to the people. She made a lot of viewers laugh, cry and love her. Maine is truly inspiring because she said in one of her Interviews that her greatest accomplishment is that she somehow made people happy. 

Menggay has been truly an inspiration not only to Filipinos but to people all around the world. Just like Maine, I also would love to be an inspiration to many people. Showing someone that impossible is just a word is truly amazing. She made us realize that dreaming is not all about just dreaming. We have to do something and take action to make it happen.

PART I: THE QUEEN HAVE JUST ARRIVED

Actress, model, comedian, host, writer, singer and the Queen of Dubsmash. A phenomenal star. A woman who showed the world that impossible is nothing but just a word.

Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza. Widely known as Maine Mendoza and for her role as Yaya Dub in Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye. 

PART II: QUEEN'S FOUNDATION

Meng had a wonderful childhood, thanks to her Family. She is very close to her supportive Family. Meng considers her Sisters as her best friends and her Father as her biggest fan and supporter. She has four siblings, two men and two women. Just like Maine's name that starts with "Nico", the name of all of her siblings also starts with "Nico".

Since Menggay was young, they have a cousin of her dad who has been living with them named Pepe. Maine greatly cherishes Pepe since she was the one who's taking care of Meng and her siblings along with her Parents.

She finished her high school at St. Paul College of Bocaue in Bulacan. Meng was a pretty quiet and introverted student who dreamed of being a Flight Attendant. When she was in High School she was bullied because she was an introverted person, but her friends helped her cope up. She completed a bachelor's degree in hotel, restaurant and institution management with a major in culinary arts at De La Salle-College of St. Benilde. She had her internship at The Sagamore in Bolton Landing, New York. Being an actress and being able to act on screens was Maine's secret ultimate dream. She never told any of her friends or anyone about her dream of being an actress because she doesn't want to be laughed off, and in her perspective that time is that being an actress is too impossible for her to achieve because she doesn't have any idea nor talent in acting.

PART III: BOW DOWN TO THE QUEEN

When the application "Dubsmash" was introduced to the world, the shy, quite and introvert Maine disappeared. She decided to leave her comfort zone when she was a student and started using the Dubsmash application. Due to Maine's undeniably great performances in Dubsmash, people started to call her the "Queen of Dubsmash". In the early part of 2015, Mendoza posted a Dubsmash compilation on Facebook, in which she impersonated another famous Filipina personality Kris Aquino that went viral with one million views overnight. 

She was casted as Yaya Dub in a noontime television show in the Philippines called Eat Bulaga. Yaya Dub's rose to fame when her undeniably chemistry with her co host Alden Richards was seen by the viewers. After one episode of Eat Bulaga showcasing their chemistry, the love team "AlDub" has commenced. Their pairing resulted to their wide exposure and to the further increase of the TV ratings of Eat Bulaga.

Some famous Filipino slangs and actions were created because of the love team of Yaya Dub and Alden Richards such as, the "Pabebe Wave", "Aldub You" and "Ma-alden Kita."

Maine is also considered as a fastest rising actress in the showbiz business. After the Kalyeserye series in Eat Bulaga, Maine successfully showed that she is more than a comedian. In the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival, She was honored as the Best Supporting Actress for her role as Anna Carillo in the Film "My bebe love: #Kiligpamore" which she co starred with Alden Richards and the Famous Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai De las alas.

After that Maine took part in a lot of Film projects such as "God gave me you",  "Imagine you and Me" and  "Destined to be yours". 

Maine became a fixed member of Eat Bulaga. She is able to travel to different countries with her co hosts to shoot some episodes and have a memorable time with them. Some of Maine's Films were taken in different countries. Such as some of the scenes of "Imagine you and Me", It was shot in Como, Italy.

Maine's rise to fame didn't affect her personality. She is still the down to earth Menggay that her Family treasures.

ONTO THE NEXT PAGE: an autobiography

"My life is like a book that I'm writing. I am always exuberant to write the next page."

The day was December 11, 2004. On a peaceful morning in Manila, Quezon City.  Everyone is enjoying the sunset. Living their morning like there's no tomorrow. Seizing the day and working hard. Spending the day with a smile on their face. But it wasn't everyone though. There's my Mother in the hospital, screaming her lungs out. She never thought that she'd ever scream like that in the early morning ever in her life.

Helluh! I am Joshua D. Alegre. I'm 17 years old and currently a Grade 11 Student at New Era University. I was born on December 11,2004 at 8:32 in the morning, so I guess that's why I'm quite an early bird. Even though just by reading my name you can already guess what my nickname is, but there are some nicknames that are unexpectedly what people call me. For example, the usual one's are Josh, Joshy, Juswa and Aleger. That is what my friends and classmates call me. But in my Family and Relatives I have other more nicknames. Such as Uwa, Wa, Beks and Biek. Although I have plenty of nicknames, you can always call me mine… Kidding! I am happy, I already have Joy in my life. 

When I was 2 years old, My Parents always leaves the house in the afternoon to go to work. I can clearly remember how I always cry everytime they leave and I can clearly remember how my aunt, who lives with my family, always holds me because I always intend to run and follow my parents when leaving the house. I am also of the reason why many of the furniture in our house is scattered on the ground.

I have two lovely siblings. One is 26 and the other is 25. Even though the gap in our ages is very far, we're all close to each other. We were thought by our Parents, Siony and Jessie to be a well mannered person, that is to say that even though we're all close to each other we still know how to respect each other and know the boundaries.

I do have a very close friend. I met him when we were in Grade 4. Before going to school my aunt and i always come to Mercury Drug Store to buy a chips delight cookies for my snacks in recess, and my close friend always constantly comes with us. We became friends because we were classmates and we always share our food with each other and since he lives near our house we most of the time go home together.

There were many significant moments when I was in Grade 7. I was in Grade 7 when I was baptized in the Iglesia ni Cristo.

Also, since my brother is a varsity soccer player in his school, I also get to love playing soccer and futsal too. My first ever friendly soccer game is when i was in grade 7.

In addition to that, when I was in Grade 7 my best friend recruited me in the Senior Scout Organization in our school. There, I met some new incredible people. I will never forget my experiences with them. Scouting taught me the real meaning of brotherhood. I will say that scouting made me a better person. My fellow scouts taught me different lessons that I can apply in my life.

Even though scouting has significantly changed my life, it negatively affected my academic performance. I was so focused on my role as a senior scout that I forgot my responsibilities as a student. I then realized that scouting is badly affecting my academic performance so in the beginning of my Grade 9 years, I decided to quit as a senior scout and focus on my responsibilities as a student. And I will say that I made the right decision because when I was Grade 9 I received my first certificate and medal as an honor student. 

1 week away before the school year 2021-2022 begin, My Father passed away. It was a hard week for me because I need to study and prepare for the upcoming school year but I can't do anything because of the longing feeling. 

Thankfully, I met some new funny people who helped me cope up with the longing feeling. Currently I'm a Grade 11 HUMSS student in New Era University. And currently my Grade 11 years are on the verge of its ending. And I am excited to go onto the next page.

FIRST TIMES: a memoir

The month was February. It is my most awaited day, I've been looking forward to that day. It happened in the shortest month of the year, but the shortest month of the year sure doesn't feel like it because I have been waiting for so long.

I was up before dawn anticipating. Thinking about what could possibly be the flow and what could possibly go wrong. That is to say that I started planning my moves and started thinking about the words that I should say. Before leaving the house, I took a photo to commemorate the moment.

I have planned everything. But the moment she looked me in the eyes, and the way that her eyes also smiled when she smiled, everything that I had planned fell apart. My mind stopped working when she started talking. I'm just staring at her eyes and mesmerizing her beauty. With her eye smile, I can see her sweet smile behind her mask. Everytime i hear her euphonious voice I can't help but smile. I can't help but adore her, I can't stop looking at her to the point that I forgot to keep in touch with my belongings. 

And that was the reason why I lost my phone. Of course at that moment when I realized that my phone wasn't with me anymore, I got worried and scared that I might get scolded when I got home. But the way she looked at me with those worried eyes made me calm down. She is more scared and worried than me that she even wants to take the blame for me. That is when I realized how truly genuine she is. I'll never forget that day because that was the first time that i lost a phone and I'll never forget that day because even though i lost my phone, I am happy because that first time happened with her, and because a lot of first times happened that day.

From that day on, I realized that you don't need a phone to capture every moment. Love is the only thing that you need, because love captures every moment and it'll surely all stay in our heart and mind.

Fred is a middle aged man, who's single. Fred is not a fan of love and childrens. He is a very serious man, his only focus is to stay fit and healthy, and to live a long life.

Since Fred is so into staying fit and healthy, one of his close friends suggested that he should go try hiking. His friend referred him to someone who knows a great place to hike. Fred is now driving his car on the way there.

He arrived. At the starting point of the hiking area, there's a group of hikers. They saw Fred alone, so they called for his attention.

Hiker 1: Sir! Hello.

Fred raised his eyebrows.

Hiker 1: Go hike with us,

Hiker 2: Yeah, it'll be fun.

Fred: Oh, no thanks. I prefer to hike alone.

Hiker 2: Come on! It's always better to have somebody with.

Hiker 1: I'll be fun Sir.

Fred: It'll be fun for me if you stop bothering me and let me hike and peace.

Fred annoyingly smiles. The hikers are offended by his attitude so they just go on without him. Fred whispered to himself

Fred: Thank god, finally.

Fred started to hike.

He hiked and he hiked and he hiked till he noticed a crowd of people panicking. He moved his way to the crowd to see what's happening. Fred took a few steps back because of the shock that he felt after he saw a child near the edge of the cliff.

No one dares to come forward to go save the child, thinking that if they take a few steps the child will start running and fall off the cliff.

A man finally steps forward. He slowly took some steps forward. He stopped because the child took some steps backward. Fred is watching the situation terrified.

As Fred watch the situation, his eyes started tearing up. Flashbacks happened inside his mind. He remembered the way his wife and daughter died. Fred saw himself on the sidewalk, watching his wife and daughter crossing the streets and a truck with no brakes coming towards them, then a deafening truck horn made him come back to senses.

As he came back to his senses. Fred felt that he had to do something to save that child.

While the man is slowly approaching the kid, the kid starts running on the way to the edge of the cliff. Fred hurriedly ran to save the child. Fred almost got the child but it already jumped off the cliff, with no hesitations, Fred also jumped. While in the air, not that far from the edge of the cliff. Fred was able to push the child back to the cliff. Luckily a man was able to catch the kid, and sadly Fred fell off the cliff.
