I can imagine. I don’t think Finn will be much better.

He just tries to avoid Aris as much as he can.

A typical protective older brother huh?

The one scowling at your son is my brother, Aris.

I think you’re going to be a perfect addition to our family.

I’m really glad to hear that.

miscbennetts​:

You and me both. Try not to tell him that though, because last time I did I found him backflipping off the second story landing onto mattresses in the carpark.

Doesn’t surprise me, but I’ll keep it in mind.

miscbennetts​:

I’d say he well and truly is. I think since he was a boy he chose not to be particularly observant himself, he knew there were things he didn’t want to know, things he wanted to be oblivious too. So he chose somewhat of a carefree and recklessly naïve life. I’m glad for that, but I’m not even remotely surprised he was attracted to that in you.

I can’t lie, I love how carefree he is.

You have him all clued out already. He used to love me fussing over him, now he runs away at any sight of it.

I’m a really observant person, apparently Finn is really into it.

Great. I’ll go get you some drinks then. 

I’d say he was being a good fiancé if I didn’t think he just wanted to escape this conversation.

Of course. Well as I’ve always said to Finn, he was somewhere between a constant headache and the sweetest boy to ever live. But boy do I have some stories for you.

I want to hear everything.

finnweaver​:

The more you encourage her, the more she’ll give.

Say less. So Summer, I hope you don’t mind me calling you that, I want to hear all about my husband to be.

finnweaver​:

We’d barely met 5 months ago. So we’ll call it a month, and I wasn’t daydreaming.

Your mother has spoken and I’m inclined to believe her.

miscbennetts​:

5 months ago, give or take. It’s not often he ever stops, but he was like a statue daydreaming about it.

5 months?

Truly, the pleasure is all mine. I’ve been so excited to meet you since my boy came to visit speechless over you.

I knew this would happen. Josie, this is my mum, Summer.

It’s great to finally meet you.

He definitely dances, I have all kinds of evidence in the matter.

I’d love to see that.

Ouch. So no dancing at the wedding?

Oh but by your own admission you don’t dance.
