Bebut-style (Kindjal) Dagger

Dated: circa 1900

Culture: Indopersian

Measurements: overall length 33cm

The dagger has a curved, double-edged blade, with central fuller. The dark horn grip is decorated with four cabochon turquoises. The silver scabbard has filigree decorations, metallic beads and thirteen cabochon turquoises andagate. The spherical chape is enriched with two glass paste cabochons, and a triangular pendant, featuring a cabochon turquoise.

The alarms were tripped, but it was Rock who greeted Jewel this time. “…Jewel? What’re you doing here?”

“Don’t worry, this’ll only take a second.” Rock gestured for Jewel to follow him, then set off towards the back of the lab, where Light was working on a smaller project.

“I-I... o-o-okay..” He said, walking nervously behind Rock, card behind his back. Once they got to Dr. Light, he waved awkwardly. “Um, hi.. Dad..”

Rock nodded. “Do you wanna give it to him yourself? I’m sure he’d be happy to see you!” After all, he was getting a lot of love today, with several assembly lines of his creations coming to talk to him.

“I.. I don’t know if.. oh fine. Where is he..?” He asked, lowering the hand that had the card. “I just.. have things to do.. with Turbo...” Well, that wasn’t quite true. Turbo wouldn’t be back until later that day. But Rock didn’t know that.

“Weeell, I might think about it~” He smiled, sitting next to Flash. “Besides, I never thought I was bothering you. I just want to cuddle, is all.”

Jewel smiled, giving the other a small kiss. “Mmmm... she’s adorable.” You could tell that Jewel was beginning to get sleepy. And if Jewel fell asleep there then there would be no telling when he’d wake up.
