Tech: Tanks for calling <company> how can I help you? Customer: I have a problem and I need you to help me fix it Tech: Sure, what is the problem? Customer answer vaguely Tech: and how would you like it fixed? Customer (Customer elevates voice): That is your job, just fix it Tech asks clarifying question Customer (yelling): Don’t ask any questions, I just want you to fix it!
I can’t fix it it, if I don’t know what fixed means to you...
I hate customer that have diarrhea of the mouth. What I mean by that, is instead of being quiet and listen to what I have to say (answer his question), he just keep running the same 3 or 4 sentences over and over like a broken record, never allowing me to speak. Eventually I catch a break and answer a questions, they the cycle starts again of the same 3 or 4 sentences, including the one question already answered. How do these people function in life?
How many times in one day should a person have to say that you didn't enter the information in the computer, the computer doesn't have it?
Just spent about 10 minutes explaining that the computer identifies “BLU” as a something different than “BLUE”. To this customer the two should be the same and the computer should know to group them together

I hate to have to save customers from themselves
One thing I hate about my job is to have explain basic math to the customer , for example: Me: 5 x 8 is 40. Customer that is a Business owner: That’s not right Me: opens calculator in the computer, show him the math is correct Customer: I see but I don’t want that number.
Customer asks a question Tech answers question in simple terms, where it can’t be dumbed down further Customer says “Yeah, I know” them asks the *SAME* question again Well it is obvious, you didn’t understand what the tech said.
I had no idea they gave out business loans to people with mental disabilities to run commercial businesses in the US.
When I tell you to close the program and restart the computer, doesn’t mean that one of these steps is optional.

I love when customers ask me what color their Ethernet cable, that was not setup by the company I work for, is. Like there is an standardization on that or I can see the back of their computer over the phone
Someone left a voicemail, where I could clearly hear another person next to them telling them word by word what to say. Why did the other person didn’t call themselves?
Someone just left a voicemail that said “Please call you back”. They meant please call me back, and this is a business owner. Makes you wonder how this person does business in the US if they can’t even leave a message correctly
Program shows dialog box that says: Do you wish to continue? Gave options “Yes”and “No” Customer: What does this mean?
I will never understand why people call and leave a message to call one number. I call that number and the person that called and left the message before, asks me to call their other number. Can you not plan that far ahead, by that I mean can you know what you will be doing in 5-10 minutes?
This is why Tech Support reps deserve hazard pay
Phone call that went bad: 4 employees screwed it up (myself included). I was the one that complained that I had to clean up the mess, I was the one blamed for the problem, the other 3 employees that failed to do their job, got nothing, not even a talk. I got a write-up.
