Breanne Collenbeck grew up in a very humble home, a little more humble than she would have liked. Born and raised in South Central LA, she knew the moment that she graduated high school that she needed to get as far away from the place as possible. Growing up in poverty wasn’t an easy thing, she knew that she and her family deserved a lot more than that. For this very reason, Bre was determined to do anything in her power to be a success. She would make millions of dollars and she’d move her mom and 7 year old sister from the hell hole that she called home.
Bre began to work at a young age, always doing whatever it took to contribute to the home. She was smart in school and she took advantage of new opportuntities. But because of her hard work ethic, she found herself missing more school than she would have liked. When it came time to graduate, she had to do everything in power to make it across that stage with a diploma.
The camera was a very precious thing to Bre. When she was 7 years old, her mother had used all of her savings to get her something for Christmas and she valued it greatly. The love she had for photography blossomed and it was the only thing that distracted her from her harsh reality. The young girl’s charisma and beauty was something else that she took great advantage of. Things weren’t hard to come by for her. All she had to do was bat an eyelash and it came. Her looks worked to her advantage and all of the projects she’d participated in brought in a steady income for her to help support her family. Although some projects proved to be more explicit than others, she kept her face straight and did whatever it took. Sooner or later, those kind of projects brought her more results and she soon grew fond of them. A little too fond of them. Her flirtatious banters were also embedded into her at a very young age and although it might have caused her some problems in school, she never cared what people thought. Especially when it brought more satisfaction than problems.Â
At the age of 20, Bre’s hard work had paid off. She was working part time with the LA Times as a FreeLance photographer [continuing to do her side projects of course] and was discovered by one of One Directions agents. When he offered the opportunity to go on tour with them, she didn’t hesitate to say yes and quickly took up the offer. Not really questioning what type of work had grabbed his attention, she ran with it before he changed his mind. Now that she’s on tour with the stars, she takes her job very seriously. She makes sure that she comes through every single time. And if she can get some candid shots of Hollywood's A-Listers, for work or for her personal liking, she wouldn't miss the chance. She has admitted that if anyone on the tour would be willing, then she'd be the first to lend a helping lense.Â
