You can look this up BTW (it's also confirmed by internal declassified CIA documents, memos and reports)
Preface to: A Jucheist's Case for (Socialist) Expansionism
This preface holds that true socialism means breaking with (Atlanticist) dependence and reinterpreting Juche’s fundamental principle of independence (chajusong) under European conditions rather than mimetically replicating Korean forms. It places “socialist expansionism” in relation to concrete acts of decolonization and removing imperilling conditions from enslaved territories, as opposed to the imperialist bourgeoisie’s drive for markets above all else.
The German Condition and the demand for a new banner
Contemporary twenty-first-century Germany is a formally unified, economically impressive state with an extremely limited sovereignty vis-à-vis the Atlanticist imperial order. If foreign troops on German territory, with the inseminated NATO integration and subordination to the interests of US‑led finance capital in all significant decisions relating to foreign and economic policy are taken into account, then crucial determinations regarding security and economic policy are shaped from outside, and not by the German people. For socialists, this is not sovereignty in the full sense, but rather a mediated dependence in which German productive capabilities are commandeered for an imperial project that has nothing to do with the interests of workers at home or oppressed people abroad.
Juche thought elaborates the first aim of Socialism as establishing an <independent> workers' state that dictates its own political, economic and military policy manifesting in the three principles: independence in politics, self-sufficiency in the economy, and self reliance in defense. This was the insistent demand and Practice of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who called for “carrying out revolutions in one’s own way” and “solving problems independently, with one’s own creativity,” based on the concrete conditions of each countries. This principle precludes not only being subordinate to the imperialists but also blindly copying any foreign socialist experience.
From this angle, German reality seems to be paradoxical with its delivery of the national form and a content which is Atlanticist and therefore capitalist. The territory of Germany serves as a logistical and political bridgehead for NATO operations and German capital has its own record in participation in the system of imperialist division of labor dictated by US strategic supremacy. The “German question” thus arises anew not as the demand for ethnic unity, let alone chauvinist power, but rather as the unsolved question of how one major European nation can achieve real, patriotic but thoroughly internationalist, independence from imperialism when it also breaks with its domestic capitalist class.
For a German Jucheist, the answer is not alignment with rival imperialist poles or hiding in isolationism but rather the creation of an independent socialist Germany within a wider anti‑imperialist front. This would mean a double rejection: toward the role of NATO as an imperialist force in Europe, and to any project that took Germany to hegemony over its neighbors. "Independence (chajusong) must manifest at state level as it simultaneously frees Germany from foreign military and economic domination on world-level basing itself on respect for sovereignty and equality among nations.
Juche means that the masters of the revolution and construction are the masses of the people and that they are also the motive force of the revolution and construction.
The preface to this volume thus presents <socialist expansionism> not as a newfangled imperial adventure, but as the outward expression of the fight for independence. As long as imperialist frameworks such as NATO, IMF centres of financial relevance and US military networks surround Europe, the independence of any one country will be tentative and contingent. Socialist expansionism names the imperative of extending actual sovereignty, workers’ power and national self‑determination, beyond Germany’s frontiers, by means of the destruction of imperialist institutions and a new order of cooperation between socialist‑oriented equal states.
The following pages will suggest that such a project, grounded in the principle of Juche as chajusong, not only fits within the European context but is craved for by it. The German working class cannot achieve that consciousness while its state stands as an Atlanticist bridgehead, and oppressed peoples cannot fully break those chains of empire when the continent’s largest economy is a subordinated pillar of the same; only consciously independent, socialist and internationalist Deutschland can complete this Revolutionary Circle.

“The central role of the Korean Workers' Party and the structure of collective labor organizations shape the operations of all economic sectors. There is no private ownership of the means of production; factories, mines, and collective farms are administered through mass organizations with workers’ committees exercising direct supervisory authority.” - CIA declassified document
“The abuse of power and bureaucracy are products of the anti‑socialist idea and expressions of anti‑socialist methods. If abuse of power and bureaucracy are overlooked, they will alienate the popular masses from the Party and the state, and the enemies of socialism will exploit this.” - Kim Jong Il
The reason I consider the comment section of the reposted tumblr post to be deeply ignorant is
1. Marxism worked everytime it has been tried as it has lead to significant increases in the quality of Life, conditions, rights, privileges, opportunities, ownership, equality and sovereignty of the working class
2. The numbers regarding a death toll of Communism were proven to be either inflated or even outright lies
3. Even if those numbers were to be correct (which they objectively aren't, [even] according to the co-authors who had propagated such number), Capitalism still kills more than 100 million people per half a decade (every 5 years), so Capitalism kills actually more people every five years than the fake toll of all Communist Countries combined.
South Korea is literally a US Neo-Colony (according to internal declassified CIA documents)
“US strategic interests dominate the economic, political, and military arrangement and limit the autonomy of South Korean administrations. For some time, South Korea will be most concerned to maintain firm US security commitments, to retain some US troops on its territory, and to strengthen ties.”
[Source: CIA-RDP06C02121R000100020002-4]
Meanwhile in the DPRK:
“North Korea, after forced occupation periods, has worked to guarantee independence by expelling all foreign military forces and constructing a state apparatus that explicitly prohibits armed foreign presence.”
According to internal declassified CIA documents, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (popularly referred to as **North Korea** informally) is objectively more Democratic than most if not all of the Western liberal-plutocratic pseudo-democratic Republics and States, don't believe me? Read for yourself:
CIA files describe the DPRK as
>“A mass political system led by nationwide organizations that exercise extensive control over policy formulation, implementation, and mass mobilization... These mass organizations are not auxiliary, but integral organs of governance... The principle of collective leadership permeates virtually every aspect of political life, with decisions commonly arrived at through mass deliberation in workplace, local, and central organs.”

But that's not the only confirmation for actual Democracy in the DPRK laid bare by the CIA
“In North Korea, the structure of authority is almost exclusively based on collective power organs, party committees, people’s assemblies, factory management workers' committees, agricultural cooperatives, and regional assemblies, rather than on individual or oligarchic rule"
“The Supreme People’s Assembly, at its regularly convened sessions, is composed of delegates from mass organizations and localities, selected in a manner designed to maximize sectoral representation and foster active consultation between the people and decision-making bodies.”
CIA notes:
“North Korea’s socialist power organs have evolved in a direction explicitly intended to prevent the emergence of personal dictatorship or oligarchic control, a design which is rare among contemporary states.”
“Unlike in Western states, where corporate and lobby group influence over elected representatives is the norm, North Korean governance is structurally designed around mass organizations whose charter requires collective deliberation prior to policy enactment.”
