My silence holds a plethora of syllables I am too afraid to say.

Worry
There is this saying, "Why pray about it and continue to worry about it." Easier said than done, huh? We have to believe big and have the faith that our worries will be taken away. We are human so we worry about all kind of things; children, family, spouses, jobs, finances, etc. The interesting thing is that worrying doesn't change the outcome. Worry as much as you want and things will still happen, people will still be who they are. Situations will still arises. Praying is a tool to help us. However, we have to learn to pray and leave it there in His hands because you can't do anything about it because if you could it would be done and you wouldn't be worried, right? Have the faith of a mustard seed. Worrying is another one of the things that have an impact on your health. It strips you of your sanity and happiness. Pray, be happy, love through, believe, have faith, and ask yourself, "In this moment is there anything that I can do to change the situation, do I have the power/influence to impact the outcome or make the outcome what I want? If the answer is no then pray about it and trust that if it's meant for you to be able to to do those things a way will be made for you to but until then...just let it go and know that God is doing his thing on your behalf.
Infertility
Around month 6 of trying to conceive I became obsessed with tracking everything. Ovulation test and temperature every morning, vitamins and other supplements that have been said to help, different positions, Googling every symptom of possible pregnancy...every single time something felt different, propping my legs up afterwards...etc. I never knew how easy it was to become completely obsessed with the idea of birthing life. I would work myself in to a frenzy every single month. I've never worked so hard at something and never achieved it then I think about those that I know who have battled this for many more years than we have. Then I resolve to FAITH. PRAYER. LOVE.
I've been really focused on my thoughts. Those that are negative and those that are positive. Our thoughts are the gateway to many things that happen within us. Thoughts effect our health, emotions, beliefs, sanity, etc. I have been making a conscious effort to correct myself through prayer whenever I have a negative thought. I immediately pray. Some days I have many many little prayers lol while others I'm simply saying thank you (God) for doing work in me so that I recognize my thoughts beforehand.
I believe in this wholeheartedly

GOD FUCKING BLESS THIS WOMAN
This wonderful woman.
I agree
Earlier this weekend I was raving about the leggings Iâm wearing in this photo and todayâs practice made me love them even more. When I practice inversions, my belly and my pedicure are my âwild cardâ elements- my pedicure always gets jacked up from the constant toe dragging, and my belly is always flopping around like a deflated basketball. Cure for the messed up pedicure? Gel pedicure. Cure for the flopping belly? THESE PANTS. Who knew that pants without a compression element could so effectively contain my belly? Also, can we talk about the awesomeness of this headband? I mean, the little bit of hair I have is unbelievably unruly and this headband keeps it in check w/o squeezing my scalp. In other news, itâs effing adorable. The badass designer responsible for my new garb is Nikki of Kobieta (www.shopkobieta.com)

For example, I kind of live for #camelpose- it makes my whole body sing every time it shows up in my practice. Last day to enter is this Saturday (5/17)!

Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day so why not make it an enjoyable one. Try this recipe for #Paleo Pumpkin Pancakes and give yourself a sweet morning treat!
Ingredients: 1/4 cup of coconut or almond flour (whichever you prefer) 3 eggs 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp of cinnamon 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/4 cup pumpkin puree 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp melted coconut oil 1/4 tsp pumpkin spice * 1/4 cup almond milk *Optional if batter is too thick for your personal preference*
Directions: Whisk together all the dry ingredients in one bowl: flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice. Whisk wet ingredients in separate bowl: eggs, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, pumpkin puree. Slowly add the dry mix to wet mix until the ingredients are mixed together well. Heat your pan with your preferred oil or butter over a medium-low flame. Spoon batter into the pan in whatever size you want (use a spoon to flatten and shape batter if necessary). The batter does not bubble like regular pancakes so you will need to keep a watchful eye on them. Flip over to the other side when the bottom is golden brown. Serve with maple syrup or by itself and Enjoy! #PGS #PrettyGirlsSweat #Paleo #Breakfast #Pumpkin #Pancakes #delicious #Nutrition #PGSoncampus #PGSTempleU #TU14 #TU15 #TU16 #TU17 | Written by: Temple University PGS Ambassador Zamara Amankwah (@_zasa_)
