He needs someone much stronger. Stronger than a demon, stronger than an angel. A god.

By defeating the god, his child will be set free and only then, HE will become the god. ❞

Luci started L.M. Corp. with Ivy in hopes that it would fund their hunt for demon hunters who attacked them. He and Ivy has been building the corporation slowly but surely and while they got some important leads, cooperating with Chester and his chaotic team has caused him few insomniac nights..

As much as he wants to fire him, he knows that he can't because Ches is one of his most efficient employees.... in his own ways.

Started working for Ivy and Luci after the "incident".. With best of his abilities, he's trying to figure out where the hunters are coming from and is there something crucial to know about them.

With all that going on, he's trying to deal with his migraines and foremost his slipping sense of self after getting addicted to demon blood.... Which belongs to someone he hates the most, Luci.

Ivy started L.M. Corp. with Luci after the conflict with demon hunters. While they're fighting against them and trying to find their whereabouts, she's studying ancient medicine. Years of alcoholism has left her empty and now she's trying to find herself again and fulfill her purpose... whatever that even means anymore.

thinking about posting character info sheets.. however, they're from current timeline and the story starts at early timeline, so littlebit about that : ....

current timeline is where the "main stuff" happens. however, early timeline is as important because that's where the things start (obviously) and we get to know them.

• some things might not make sense (yet).

• I made these before I realized that I should probably make early timeline versions rather than current timeline versions.... I didn't think I would ever post these but here we are !

• everything is fictional.

• I photobashed these and everything you see is from pinterest (except character sketches, i drew those).

dropping in here and yelling hey hey ! (since i'm spamming on my main..) little update on my story and other stuff.

I was struggling with the series name quite some time but I think I finally know what to call it.. how exciting!

I've been writing (slowly but surely) and i'm thinking about uploading my stuff on ao3 after I finish my second chapter.. why? BECAUSE i'm writing reeallly slow and I don't want to post just one (1) chapter.... and disappear for the next few months lol.

anyhow, here's the actual interesting part... ☕︎ :

I might keep my series restricted (meaning that only ao3 users can read it) but we'll see when I get to that point. i'm still trying to learn how to use that site as an 'author' lol.

I got my ao3 account finally ! i'm still proof reading and editing my drafts but i'm thinking about sharing these chapters soon(ish). i'm kinda nervous about it but eh... I need to do this, nervous or not. these characters AND this story is so important to me,, I want to share it with my friend and with my few followers/lurkers (hey, i see you, thank you for your support <3) because that's something my characters deserve as they have saved me and my crumbling sanity a couple of times.

now i'm just rambling and sounding like a crazy person but hey... i think every artist is littlebit, teeny tiny bit insane but yea.... here's something, more to come, i'm scared but excited for this new step in my life. [:

Long before the colonization, there were two races. Mortals and immortals..

Humans and demons, also known as Groluna Exco.

Some tribes used to worship them, keeping them well fed and housed while the demons fought along with the tribe. They helped with crops, livestock and other important things such as medications. Even though demon blood was known to be lethal, they made many life saving potions that kept the tribe healthy and thriving.. Some other tribes however, didn't value those beliefs. They believed in natural cycle and herbs, not some demon sorcery.

And so wars, raids and fights happened between these two belief systems. Bloodshed lasted for years and soon much bigger problem arised over the seas. Europeans.

After the colonization and other much bigger conflicts, these worshippers slowly disappeared like the natives.. Demon hunters however, remained.

To this day, there are two races. Mortals and Immortals.. Humans and Demons.

Most humans are unaware of demons and don't belief in such stories. Most modern history books has erased Groluna Exco's for unknown reasons, whether it was the demon hunters and their cult or the demon council itself.. Some things are better left in the dark....

Well. There are still wars to be fought.

Demon hunters are still after the demons, trying to erase these creatures from the existence. Why?

Because they're unholy. They're sin-ridden parasites, poisoning and corrupting the law enforcement. Slaughtering and tearing families apart and leaving poor children to rot. They simply need to be send back to hell where they belong.

In this story, we follow three demons. Chester, Ivy and Luci. Three different characters, three different storylines. Each as important as other, while we discover the demonic life, corruption (from both sides) and the mundane; surviving from demon hunters.

We start in modern California, Los Angeles. Year unknown.

"Chester" William Stewards :

23 -years old fast food worker who also happens to be in a gang.

With money being one of the biggest issues, Chester does whatever to get more money so his highschool sweetheart, Ivy, could quit one of her jobs and focus better on her dreams.

As drugs and impulses come into play, he tries to hide his addiction from his already stressed girlfriend. This obviously doesn't end well.

Nari "Ivy" Jeong :

23 -years old. Butcher by day, exotic dancer by night.

It had always been her life-long dream to become a dancer.. However, she soon realizes that the stripper heels are not ballet shoes and the envelopes keep piling, stripper or not.

While chopping off mortals heads at the butcher shop, she meets her new coworker. Luci. He keeps inspiring her to chase her dreams and become professional dancer... with him.

Simon "Luci" Murray :

25 -years old "freelancer".. Nobody really knows about his past or where he's from, other than he has scottish-american accent.

Luci does favors for people, legal or not, as long as it doesn't put him in the prison.. Again. While looking for jobs, he gets hired to 'The long Pig' butcher shop where he meets Ivy.

They get to know each other better and Luci ends up helping Ivy and her brother, in hopes that it would magically erase his haunting past. Little does he know, she doesn't have a brother.....

"Chester, what the fuck have you done ?!"

It was almost midnight and the north side of Los Angeles had been in the dark for a while. Everybody was asleep or..... atleast safely behind locked doors as the darkness covered the city with sin.

Sinners roamed the streets, preying for the feelings they could never even begin to imagine; how it felt to be immortal.

Crisp of the wind woke their senses, as it was the closest thing that ever got them to truly feel alive. Vitality rushed through their veins, making the ever-growing sensation prickle their skin with adrenaline. Sun didn't blind them anymore and the world had gone beautifully quiet...

It was the most perfect condition for demons.

Not for Chester, but he wasn't one of the pure bloods anyways. He was "impure".. That's what they called his pathetic subspecies. It was disgusting mix of something truly unnatural, bones almost as fragile as mortals and genes tangled like his mother was a common whore. He shivered behind Luci, stiff like a stick in shit while his coworkers stared down this other crook and his minions.

Streetlight barely reached their feet and everytime some goddamn moth flew into the streetlamp, it made infuriating high-pitched buzz. Short, but long enough to make Chester grit his teeth together.

He digs his hands deeper into his pockets and burrows his ears to his shoulders.

"Do you have it?" Leader spat but Luci didn't answer. Instead, he creaked his old mustang's trunk open and let it speak for itself.

"That's it?" The guy inspected closer.. Sceptical of the heavy looking bodybag.

Yet still no words from Luci. Eyes empty from lost battle, his eyes pierced through leaders head.. Probably from hate and disgust for this other felon that stood in front of his expensive suit.

Luci didn't even have to strain his voice to let his associates know what to do next.

One of Chester's coworkers stepped towards the trunk, making the poor person whimper from pain as his knuckles hit their already broken ribs.

Muffled cries carried with the wind and the crook let out sadistic laugh.

--thud thud....

Chester looks around echoing parking lot. Closely trying to listen between breaths, trying to search for something... Nothing. Only trashbag howled across the abandoned parking lot and those moths still buzzed around the only light source. Warm streetlight.

"Great.-" Leader finally huffed. "-Put her in my car and we - -"

--thud thud, thud thud--

It was that pounding again, only this time much faster, much stronger. It didn't belong there.

Chester looks around if others have noticed that too but no. They stood there, focusing on both leaders like they were the most interesting men in the whole world while the heart hammered in distance.

And so Chester fades into the shadows, slowly, peeking behind his shoulder every now and then while the group got smaller and smaller. His footsteps almost matched the fastening pulse, making his own flutter with excitement.

--thud thud thud thu-th-thud thud--

With a quick flick, he opens his butterfly knife and steps into long alleyway, sickening grin growing on his face as he followed the palpitating heart straight to the unknown.

"C'mooon, I know you're here... Better come out before I find ya."
