were you ever hurt by somebody? & how did you get over that?

yes i’ve been hurt and i haven’t fully gotten over it. i’ve gone to counselling to try and work through some of the shit which definitely helps but i have realized that time eases the pain better than anything else for me. things that happened to me when i was a kid still hurt to think about but it doesn’t interfere with my life anymore because i’ve accepted it and spent my whole life contemplating it and working out the “whys”. idk maybe that’s not the right way of dealing with it...idk it’s like my mind is knotted hair and i’ve spent my life brushing it over and over again and now it’s mostly smooth but there are a few big knots left that i need some help getting out. totally rambling now idek if i answered the question
