For Halloween I dressed like a pirate. Everyone thought I was a legit dude and treated me like one. It was very, very weird. Being a guy for a night I was an eye opening experience… Looking like a man most everyone ignored me until I opened my mouth and started talking. This was my first time doing something like this and I originally intended to dress up as the Grudge but a guy friend was coming to town and I kinda went overboard…. Anyway, dude cancelled on me and out of frustration I set up a studio space in my room (flipped the bed) and got a couple shots I later amateurly photoshopped. Someone did come to my rescue and we went out to a bar and I had my first experience being treated as a man. I never realized just how much attention a woman gets on a daily basis. As a dude (crummy pirate) I got nothing and was flat out ignored by most of the women.
Next halloween I’ll try to dress up like a respectable looking guy and see what happens, although being a pirate was a lot of fun. I made a makeup tutorial the day after cause I was concerned people didn’t believe me that the beard out of yarn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-Z4x97mtuQ
