the second eldest born out of four siblings, juliette was born surprisingly on halloween. to say it was a surprise was an understatement. with her mother not expecting to give birth for another few weeks. but juliette had come a little early. getting to go home a few days later, juliette was very much loved. as a child, her childhood was anything but normal. at the age of five, her younger siblings were born. twins, a boy and a girl. despite being only five at the time, juliette was excited about the addition to the family. to finally have younger siblings. ones she would end up being protective over.
as she continued to grow, it had dawned on her parents how different their second eldest was going to be from the rest of the kids. shortly after turning twelve, her parents, as well as juliette herself realized that she had a photographic memory. something she inherited from her grandmother on her mothers side. it was something that ended up helping her throughout school..finishing her schooling by the age of sixteen, juliette graduated earlier than most of her friends before heading off to school.
heading off to boulder, colorado, she ended up attending the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. while studying there, she also took classes online to obtain her associates degree in hospitality and restaurant operations management. her time at boulder, she focused mainly on her studies. though there were times where she did party. one party though lead her to sleeping with a friend and getting pregnant. it was an end of the school year party during her second year and few months later, jules found herself pregnant. though the pregnancy didn't last long. a few weeks after finding out, juliette woke up in pain. so much that her parents rushed her to the hospital. it was there that she found out that she had an ectopic pregnancy.
doing what was best, she agreed with her parents to terminate the pregnancy. staying in the hospital for a few days after, she told her parents and siblings not to tell anyone she knew about this. it was a decision of her own making. with not wanting anyone she knew to worry about her. after a few days, she was able to go home. though once home, all she did was rest per the doctors orders. when it came time to go back to college, her siblings were the ones to help her, with all of them flying to boulder with her. while only her older brother stayed a little longer, she still appreciated them helping her.
finishing the rest of her years there, she had graduated with an associates degree in culinary as well as hospitality and restaurant management as well. something she was proud of. returning home, she lived with her parents for a two years before buying her own house in horwick. it was around that time that she had gotten a call that a friend of hers from college had been killed in a car accident along with her husband, leaving behind twins.
attending the funeral, it wasn't until after that she found out that her friend had wanted juliette to raise them. hearing just that made jules nervous. would she even be a good mom to them? despite that though, she kept her friends wishes in mind and ended up taking the twins in. returning home with the two one year old twins, it was a big change to say. having to buy cribs for them among other things. though with the help of her parents and siblings, all of it had been taken care of. a year later, she adopted the twins officially. it was also around this time that she took over as owner of the avery. giving the place a facelift, and a slight menu change, was a place she could call her own. flash forward to now, with the twins now seven years old, juliette is questioning if it's even safe to raise them in the town. especially with the recent killings taking place.
OTHER FACTS…
- when jules first learned how to cook from her grandmother, to say she wasn't the best at first was an understatement. she ended up over cooking the grilled cheese she had made. but over time, she improved her skills
- she's only ever been in one realationship. it was during her high school years. the two dated for three years before breaking up due to them drifting apart. the love that was between them faded over time as well.
- jules is close with all of her siblings. the four of them have a strong bond that is hard for anyone to break. it's because of that bond that they always find time to spend some time together. whetther it's meeting up at a bar once a week or dinner at each others houses from time to time.
- she's a huge college football fan. specifically a fan of the michigan wolverines. which was where her parents met at and fell in love at too. they've made it a tradition now to go to the first and last game of year as a family.
- she has been to a few european countries before. france, italy, switzerland, spain, ireland and greece. italy, greece and ireland were her top three favorite countries though to visit.

childhood best friend: knowing each other since they were kids, the two of them have been stuck together like glue. even when going to different colleges, they never gave up that friendship. they know everything about each other too. can be male or female
will they or won't they: from the flirtation between them straight up to the chemistry that most people can see, theres just one big question, will they get together or not?
childhood friends: pretty simple, people she's known since she was a kid. have been friends ever since.
ex's who are better off as friends: in high school. they tried dating for a few months only realize they were better off as friends. after breaking up, the two of them went back to being friends.
ex boyfriend: either a high school ex or a college ex, these two dating for a few years before calling it quits. the reasons as to why can vary. from pulling apart from each other to just not feeling that love anymore. this can be discussed further to anyone who is interested !
