If you get a chance to watch this (1.5hrs), this is a very good lecture on why sugar is one of the greatest threats we face today. It's not a new argument. Most people know about this, but (speaking from experience) complacency is a bugger and it's so easy to shelve the sugar-is-bad thing and just blindly consume what's 'convenient' and 'easy' in favour of saving time or whatever.
With more and more of the food made available to us being sweetened and cheapened to keep us hooked, we're really up against it.
Some will argue (mostly Food Corp giants) that there is no scientific proof. This is true, because to get the data necessary to scientifically prove, without doubt, that sugar is bad, it will involve largely unethical trials spanning decades and decades. However, this lecture lays down a lot of sound research data that clearly infers sugar's role in causing nearly all of our health problems (particularly obesity), worldwide.
It's not to be sniffed at, and something I know I will be taking more seriously from now on.

A very good way of going about explaining this issue. It’s good to see something positive come from Tumblr.
REBLOG THE SHIT OUT OF THIS.
And the reblog button was hit so quickly that it actually was reblogged BEFORE it was clicked
Will always reblog this.
I just like being girly. But what I like more, is having people noticing without minding. Just the fact that they’re aware of what I am and want to be without seeing anything but god old little me makes me happy, and most importantly, comfortable.

Allow me to post a post, that says nothing at all… except what Shane Koyzcan, with Hannah Epperson, says in this video.

"Feel The Nature, Feel The Form! Natural forms is the best way to show naturalness of product. You need to have only form that to understand what is inside of package. Honey must looks as honey. That is why this package is so simple and clean. You have to enjoy the smell and taste of Honey. Nothing more should not bother you."
The moment he took a pencil and drew something on the wall that later on turned out to be a car, his design career was started. Then he swapped a pencil for a spray paint and cars were drawn not only inside his house but also on city streets. Afterwards, he found practical use for his skills and worked for a student newspaper as an illustrator while studying tourist management. Career in that field ended before it even started and Maxim decided to become a designer. He prefers working in silence and to have his work done to satisfy the highest standards. He likes the sun and snow, coffee and ice-cream

Awesome
Ruling class groups keep themselves separate so that the masses cannot know who they are and how they really live. Most importantly, separation allows them to live the fantasy that there is no connection between their opulent lifestyles and the misery these lifestyles produce. They live in states of denial and deflect attention away from the imperialist violence enacted in their name globally to protect their class interests. However, they have no difficulty asserting the fas-cist thought and action needed to protect their wealth when they feel threatened. It is this link that makes their ruthless allegiance to a class hierarchy where they are on top a danger to us all.
