Your relationship with Lee Jeno has always been quite - different.
There is this rivalry between the both of you, which makes it impossible for you to actually get along with one another. It’s not like your number one goal is to be the school’s best student, but it’s his and his urgent need to be better than you has come to a point where even things like breathing seem to be a challenge for him. You admire him though. His ambition is something you’ve never seen because the people around you usually try to not overdo anything, but he’s different. It would be the absolute truth to say he’s the reason you sometimes sit down and study a tiny bit longer than usual. Without him you might have had different grades; still good but not as good and satisfying as the ones you have now. There were times when you definitely did think about asking him if he wanted to be your study partner but for some reason he doesn’t seem to like you. Probably because you are, indeed, a competitor for him and while you tend to see the good things about always being challenged by someone else, he views it as the worst thing on this planet.
