Hello, you can call me Dragon (it/its pronouns), I'm making this blog to share some of the AAC symbols I've created in case anyone else would find them useful.
I'm an adult and part-time AAC user; I'm relatively new to using AAC but I've had increasing difficulties speaking in recent times and want to be able to communicate consistently, so I am trying to use my AAC every day.
I'm still finding my art style and am mostly making symbols for myself, but I thought the ones I make could potentially also be helpful for other AAC users, and I'm happy to take requests to alter my symbols for other people's AAC use (for example: recolouring, adding accessories or features). This blog will likely exclusively be sharing the symbols I make, and I will always include image descriptions of each symbol.
I don't like genAI or NFTs and I want them far away from anything I make.
My header is a photograph of juniper berries on a branch and my avatar is an illustration I made of a purple dragon with short light purple fur running down its back, dark purple horns and leathery padding on the top of its muzzle, and yellow eyes; behind it is a dark blue cloudy background dotted with tiny yellow stars.
