hot DAMN drawing this was so fun. and also challenging. it took a lot of redoing, trials and errors, messing around with different approaches to get it going in the direction i wanted... and then once i figured that out, it felt SOOOO good to really dig into a big piece again. it has been so long since i drew anything like this. anyway here is a less edited crop so you can really appreciate everything

halloween is almost here and you know what that means? it’s time to continue my tradition of special halloween edition “mistress of fear” variant covers 🎃👌 this one was inspired by tim sale’s artwork, just like last year’s minimalist variant, and was also very loosely inspired by the film suspiria. there is a complete cover with the title on top and two textless versions beneath.

The Amityville Horror was on TV the other night. I keep thinking about it. About the haunted house, and all the terrible things that just kept happening to those people in it. I keep thinking about ghosts. I keep thinking… I am the house. I am the horror.

this definitely could have been done better but i finished one page intending for it to be a standalone cover or something and then the narration came to me and i just went. welp! time to draw a comic about triggers i guess
