okay terf owl house fans, I’m curious: do you see Raine as a woman or a man? I assumed everyone saw female but I’ve had a few people say they thought of them as male so I want to see the consensus
@flixonase @mysterycatcowboy Yup, same here! Like, cartoon characters are generally drawn pretty androgynously anyways, there’s a lot of room for interpretation in your mind. But voices are not :P So whatever voice they have, that’s what I see them as. Raine is voiced by a woman, so I always saw her as female. Double Trouble from She-Ra is voiced by a man, so I always saw him as male.
Also Eda is DEFINITELY bi <3 <3 <3
That is 3 votes for male, 2 (3 if you count me) votes for female though! Interesting that it’s so split!
adult raine seems male to me, especially with the way his hair is drawn it makes it seem like hair thinning
but child raine seems female because of the voice and design
YEAH the hair did through me off lmaooo. I figured it was magic testosterone or something :P
I'm sorta torn because I one side I'm more lenient towards nb magical people because like, it's magic. If I can suspend my disbelief enough to assume magic and monsters and different realms and timelines exist, I'm willing to believe in a third sex/gender. However much like how in Steven Universe how *technically* all gems were nb, most of the fandom subconsciously or consciously agreed they're female/female-leaning, so that how I feel about Raine. Also I'm def on the Bi Eda train 💗💜💙
