The one bitch that can't sing, is Hunter. He sounds awful compared to his brothers. He'll sing little rhymes or hum to himself but he'll get a terrified look from his brothers if he continues too long. Now, Hunter knows he can't sing, but he's still offended his brothers tell him to shut up everytime he hums.
Echo might've considered himself a good singer, once upon a time. But he doesn't dare try to sing. He refuses. Because then Echo thinks back, back to Fives, to Rex and Ahsoka, to his family. He remembers singing Fives to sleep the night they joined the 501st, the night they lost their family. He remembers Ahsoka, teary eyed in the arms of a tired Rex. He'd take her in his arms and sing her to sleep, she'd sing along. So yes, Echo was a good singer, but he doesn't sing anymore, even as he rocks Omega to sleep, he can't bring himself to sing the tune he knows by heart. For it would rip him apart.
Wrecker loves to sing, he never cares for the technicalities though, he'll scream-sing off-key and he'll enjoy it. But if the boys are honest, even then, his voice is pretty good. He doesn't know it, but when Wrecker's thinking really hard, or concentrating on something, he'll start singing. His singing voice his very low and he has a natural vibrato. Sometimes they'll tune into his com channel just to listen to him, even if the words don't make sense. His voice has such a calming affect on them. They'd wished he'd sing more often, but they're too afraid to ask.
Tech doesn't think himself a good singer, but Omega's always begging him to sing her a lullaby. When he was little, he wanted to help his family, his family that was always in pain. So he'd researched it and figured out some people found joy in music. He doesn't, mind you, but his brothers did. He has a lot of songs memorized just in case, now, he's not an amazing singer, but he would make you turn your head. He doesn't know why, but his stomach turns when he's about to sing or even when he thinks about it, frankly. So he doesn't really make an effort to sing, but when times get hard, he can't help it. He wants his brothers to be happy.
Now Crosshair, he will say he can't sing and if he knows a brother is near, he'll change his voice to sound bad. So yeah, the Batch doesn't know at all. He's kept the quite the secret, cause I have to tell you, Crosshair has an amazing voice. Yes, he's gone untrained, but think of all the time he spends alone, he'll sing to himself on long, boring missions. When he was little, he spent a lot of time in the medbay or the shooting gallery. So to waste time and to calm his nerves, he would sing. (That's the reason he sings, because he's scared. There are days when the silence, that he usually finds comfort in, just needs to be filled).
One day, a lone cadet wandered into the shooting gallery while Crosshair was singing. This cadet said he wanted to shoot, but he wanted to hear Crosshair more clearly. They were a bit older, no longer little, so Crosshair was a little bit more tense. But he nodded and for a long time, they didn't say a word. But then this cadet, he started singing, 'I'll always love you and make you happy, if you will only say the same.' Crosshair was taken back and ever since that day, it is the one song Crosshair knows by heart. Nowadays, when the sky is falling, he'll sing, 'But if you leave me and love another, you'll regret it all some day,' Not that Crosshair blames them for loving someone new.
