i had a dream in an environment like this once. it was the most peaceful dream I've ever had. i still close my eyes and envision the room sometimes when i need to relax.

Think Differently
What is up with white people and their obnoxious fixation for buying tiny houses as a curiosity when they have spent their entire existence trying to colonize whole countries so they can have more room to call their own? Is their conscience finally catching up to them?
Give yourself something to look forward to that isn’t a person
Yourself is enough, everyone else should be supplemental.
Minnesota’s first hijab wearing police woman
#WeAreWakanda
It’s not clear in the above article, but she was sworn in on April 30, 2015. Here’s an article from last fall about when she was working as a community liasion officer (before being sworn in).
Many St Paul police officers support her wearing hijab even as some people protest that it is a violation of uniform code:
St. Paul Police Assistant Chief Todd Axtell said all rules, even uniform codes, were made to be changed. “In the early 1970s, you had to be at least 5-foot-8 to become a St. Paul police officer,” Axtell said, who is 5 feet, 7 inches tall. “If that rule hadn’t been changed, I wouldn’t be here today.”
Her hijab has been specially designed to come off if someone tries to use it in a fight to choke her.
