People keep asking where I got this, I got it straight from the horse’s mouth.
He quite literally went on his podcast and said all immigrants are illegal drug smuggling murderers and then peddled false far-right propaganda, he had to be corrected multiple times because he was spreading blatant misinformation. He’s been peddling right-wing propaganda for a while but this was a new low.
He then realised it was going to affect his pockets because of the backlash, so he attempted to backtrack and lie claiming he was being sarcastic, when it’s blatant he wasn’t.
In the midst of what’s currently going on in the WORLD right now, especially in America and especially with Ice, peddling this type of blatant, misinformed, stupid, idiotic, RACIST rhetoric is dangerous, especially when you have a platform as large as Steve. Not only this, but this isn’t even the first time he’s spouted misinformed garbage right-wing propaganda either, nor is it the first time we’re realizing he surrounds himself with right-wing grifters.
Notably, it’s fucking hilarious that he would sit there and spout about the “illegal” immigrants smuggling drugs when he himself is in fact an immigrant who spent his entire career SMUGGLING DRUGS.
I just think it’s funny how people are anti-racist, anti-Nazi, anti-Trump and pro-immigrant rights but then SUDDENLY don’t hold those values when it’s someone they admire or like. I’ve been a fan of Jackass longer than most of you have been alive, if you think I would just randomly pack up my love for this man off baseless claims then you’re stupid. I’ve ridden for this man since I was 9 years old, but this I cannot, will not and WOULD NOT defend what he’s said or the mindset he’s unfortunately fallen into and anyone who is defending it genuinely can get to fuck away from me.
