@vlightndarkv‘s prompt was a Royalty AU - particularly unknown identity where one is a prince and the other isn’t, they meet, and the one doesn’t realize the other is a prince but eventually finds out.
The scene: Yuuri wants to do an AU roleplay with Viktor where he’s known royalty and Viktor is in disguise as a “commoner.”
Yuuri: Uhm... Viktor... This isn’t exactly what I had in mind... 😰 Viktor: Why not??! I searched really hard to find these costumes! 📦 Yuuri: Uhm. I can’t tell about yours, but mine is... a pretty bad knock-off. 🤨 Viktor: I think it looks GREAT~! 😍 You’re the Emperor of Japan and I’m a Russian peasant... ICE SPECULATION ZINE Charity Tier #5: Sponsor a Senior Dog for Makkachin~! 🐶 🐩🐾
While we hope to enjoy glimpses of Makkachin’s puppy life in the upcoming movie, we know that Viktor’s beloved companion is getting up there in years. And not all older dogs have a caretaker like Viktor who can look after them in their sunset days.
That’s why we’ve dedicated Makkachin’s tier to Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, which saves older dogs from euthanasia and provides them with a good quality of life, caring for them and placing as many dogs as they can in forever homes through adoption. This sanctuary invites followers on Facebook and Twitter along on the journeys of their older dogs with abundant photos.

ICE SPECULATION is a Yuri on Ice Charity Zine which will raise money for multiple charities. With each goal we meet with zine sales, we’ll unlock a new tier and raise money for a new charity!

Each tier will be named for a Yuri on Ice character. And in honor of Viktor’s love for Makkachin, all charities will support animals — their care, welfare, protection, and conservation. Instead of raising money for a single charity, we will spread the love of the YOI fandom throughout the animal world. :)
We’ll determine how much we’ll seek to raise for each tier when we’re closer to time for sales — balancing making a meaningful contribution to each charity and having a chance to support more animals for our favorite characters! Here’s our first charity tier…

In the midst of Ice Adolescence speculation and predictions, I think denkimouse has the most important thing to say:
In other words: expect the unexpected.
I think it’s a really great post because it reminded me of something I pretty much forgot about by now - of the fact that back when the anime was airing and we were watching it weekly we, as a fandom (and me personally), were surprised every episode. Think back to when you watched the anime yourself and (assuming no one spoiled it for you) ask yourself: how did you feel when Victor and Yuuri skated Stammi Vicino in episode 1? Or when Yuuri became the femme fatale in the Eros program in episode 3? Or during the kiss in episode 7? Or during the banquet plot-twist reveal in episode 10?
These are just a few big moments but the truth is that Yuri on Ice surprised us at every corner, gave us something new and unique every episode and defied all expectations. We were all trying to predict what would happen based on the little previews we got at the ends of episodes and the screenshot previews that came out two days before the new episodes and we still failed always. Every single time. Because Yuri on Ice is an unpredictable franchise and it’ll go above and beyond to surprise you in the best way possible.
So while it’s great to speculate, make sure to keep an open mind and don’t get too attached to any particular theory - chances are the movie will deviate from it anyway. Keep your expectations low and your ideas about the movie vague because if you hype up your ideal version of the movie in your brain too much, you’ll be disappointed with the movie no matter how good it’ll actually be. You’ll just end up upset because it wasn’t exactly what you wanted. Solution? Don’t want anything in particular, be open to what the creators are going to show us and I’m sure you’ll have a good time.
Don’t forget Victor’s words!
That’s pretty much the motto of the creators so one thing is for sure: you never really know what we’re gonna get until you see the movie yourself. So stay positive, open-minded and have faith - the creators wont fail you.
Read this and read this again and don’t forget it till the movie comes out
