Goodbye, Stan Lee
Speed art
It saddens me to see Stan Lee pass. I wish I could give this long, heartful Eulogy about him, but the truth is I didn’t really get into the Marvel Universe stuff into recently. But even then I feel saddened to see him go. To create such an intricate universe and to be actively apart of it until the day you died? I’d like to think of that as a hero’s death in the artistic world.
Like, 95 and he was still making Cameo’s in those movies. So what else can I say? I didn’t know Stan Lee, but I’ll be damned if I’m not going to miss him.
Rest In Peace.
I’m not crying, you are.
RIP Stan Lee - Thank you, sir, for all the great stories and characters! This drawing was inspired by the famous Mickey/Kermit drawing.
He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can. He isn’t going to quote poetry, he’s not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break. Don’t hurt him, don’t change him, and don’t expect for more than he can give. Don’t analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad, and miss him when he’s not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don’t exist, but there’s always one guy that is perfect for you.
