Apollo is also very very smart but he never gets to interact with humans so he’s overflowing with bird rudeness. He’ll see a live mouse and be like “is anybody gonna eat that?” and then not wait for an answer.

Apollo can tuck his face into his neck like a scarf and his feathers on their own are very warm. He only really wears clothes for winter or special occasions. They would be made of hides and worm silk.

Where he lives they get very short winters with literal tons of harsh precipitation but temperate summers where it rarely rains. Their whole village depends on water from the high altitude glaciers that cause deadly runoff and flooding in spring.

These weather patterns also are what determine when and where the human tribes migrate, they're usually living in lower altitude areas where its warmer but more likely for the river to dry.
