So…I met a guyyy. We go out on long daily hikes for some fresh air. We’ve both been infected already, so that’s one less worry out of the way. No social distancing needed ;) It’s been a long time since either of us have just hung out with other people, so that’s exciting. And he’s only killed me a few times, but nobody’s perfect.

This is my first time being involved with/encountering a game fandom who is not constantly, constantly complaining about bugs or glitches or shitting on the devs. We have Cyberpunk 2077 gamers releasing 5 YouTube videos a day ranting about the game. Xbox vs PS players fighting about Microsoft and Bethesda. Review critics begging their followers to not pre-order triple A games. My other main game is ESO and everyone there just min maxes and obsesses with stats.

Then, I quietly find Baldur’s Gate 3, where players are paying full price for early release, even the data miners are very considerate with tagging and hiding possible spoilers, the devs are open and honest about the fact that it is early release and they appreciate the player feedback, and I feel like everyone is just like

Some things with our companions I would like to have when Baldur’s Gate 3 is fully released. Feel free to add to it.

More scenes that take place in different locations of the camp with our companions. (The number of times Astarion’s book is in the way or Gale’s shoulder peeks into frame is too much. The tent photo bombs are the worst!)

Not having one cutscene override another. (I am totally fine with walking into camp where all of my companions have “!” above their heads. Hell, they can even have several back to back in case I missed one.)

Scenes where you walk up to your companions chatting to each other and you can chime in. (Mass Effect & Dragon Age games do this and I love it.)

More flirty dialogue with ALL the companions. (I’m going to assume it’ll be added in the full release, but right now there’s only flirty options with a couple of them.)

LET ME HUG/SMOOCH MY LI RANDOMLY PLEASE. (Forgive me, but Dragon Age has spoiled me lol.)

I’m sure everyone can think of more. I just had to get that out of my system lol.

#oh i i do mind the cutscene override a lot #maybe not the ones that trigger in action #however too often we get SH or Lae'zel just stating the most obvious facts meanwhile companions with interesting opinions remain silent #but the cutscenes in the camp are sometimes just too precious to miss
