â HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY, BEYONCĂ! â
Looking to get into the Halloween spirit?? Go and listen to Kim Petras album Turn off the light! I love that album, I listen to it every Halloween since it came outâšâšđ have a spooky and terrifying day !!!
Stop whatever you are doing right now and go and listen to Kirbyâs new album Miss Black America! Damn! It felt like the first time that I heard Lemonade by BeyoncĂ©. The history, the storytelling... itâs just beautiful!
Happy birthday Queen Bey!!!đâšâš
That whole American Eagle campaign fiasco is truly disgusting. And frankly, if you're more appalled by people on the internet making fun of a white womanâs appearance than by the blatant eugenics rhetoric she just recited to the world, then it's time for some serious self-reflection.
It makes me think that many donât realize how dangerous that kind of speech is. It's the same rhetoric used by colonizers across the Americas, Africa, and Asia. It's the same ideology the Nazis used during World War II. It's the same narrative that the Christian Catholic Church has historically used while holding political powerâframing anyone who isnât like them as a âsavage.â And donât forget, itâs still used by the U.S. government today to justify deportations, systemic violence against Black and Native American communities, and so much moreâtoo much to list in a single post.
Stop being so ridiculous and start seeing things for what they really are. Use your brain. Reflect. Analyze.
People say, âOh, we shouldn't talk about her appearance, that's wrong.â How about we focus first on dismantling the white supremacist discourse she proudly echoed? White women have historically benefited from these ideologiesâand those who claim theyâre not part of it are often seen hanging around openly racist people, staying silent when theyâre called âAryan princesses.â
Start practicing critical thinking and really ask yourself who youâre supportingâbecause when the concentration camps start opening up around the world for Black and brown people, those same individuals wonât even blink one eye.
And yesâBeyoncĂ© does, in fact, have better jeans. đ đœ

From the heart of unimaginable suffering, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported my family đđ»
Right now, famine is hitting us harder than ever, my heart cries whenever I go to the market to buy any basic necessities! The prices are crazy, and most days my children survive on just bread Hunger and thirst are destroying us, and cooking on fire increases our suffering unbearably! Severe eye and chest sensitivity, in addition to constant stomach pain due to the type of food and the way it is cooked.
All this while we flee from one place to another in fear of bombing, bullets, and imminent danger! I cannot describe what I feel, but it is a feeling beyond exhaustion!
Despite the exhaustion, your support gives us strength and I hope you will not let us down
If you can donate, please do so, or at least help us by sharing, so we can reach those who can
Your kindness truly keeps us going

Little monsters and Beyhive, how do we feel about being the most lucky and well-taken care of fan base of the 21st century?
Just wow! Finally BeyoncĂ© got the Album of the year!!! đ„łđ„łWe now can rest beyhive and the best part was that she also took home best country album!!! Take that CMAâSđ
I want to acknowledge Gaga and Cynthia jumping and crying in the background celebrating her! That was literally me that night đ
For you haters out there, move on! BeyoncĂ©âs ĂĄlbum won because in it she sings about things that really matter to the world right now, not about the same romantic relationships that come and go (as an asexual and aromantic person, Iâm tired of those songs and those albums like donât you have anything else to sing about?)
And to conclude, Raye killed it! Love her voice and her stage presence, if anyone is following BeyoncĂ©âs steps itâs her! Just wait and see!!
when the music videos for Telephone (Lady Gaga ft. Beyoncé) and Na Na Na (My Chemical Romance) both had scenes filmed in the same diner
Love it!âš
Leave it to *Billboard* to write an article about BeyoncĂ© and make it about somebody else entirely. They claim the only reason they didnât choose the other person was BeyoncĂ©'s longevity, but I can give you more than just that reason for choosing BeyoncĂ© over anyone else. BeyoncĂ© has the vocal capability of an opera singer, the dance skills of the best dancers in the world, and an unparalleled intuition for making a difference in the industryâshe changed the game with that digital drop! Her visuals pushed everyone to step up their game, and her storytelling through her albums is something that deserves to be studied.
Not only that, but she has been a loud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, gave us *Renaissance*, and has spoken clearly about her stance on racism in the USA. This womanâs career goes beyond anything we could have imagined 27 years ago when she first entered the game. She has earned the respect of her idolsâMichael Jackson, Tina Turner, Prince, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, and more.
This list should not be about sales. It should be about artistry and the act of creating work that transcends time. In that regard, the other person wouldn't even come close, I guarantee it. However, we all know the real reason behind *Billboard*'s rant, and it starts with a big R. White supremacy and white women's feminism often go hand in hand, trying to make us believe they are better than those truly doing the work.
So open your eyes, because even if you donât like BeyoncĂ©, you certainly know that list is not the most accurate one. Otherwise, Gaga would be up there behind BeyoncĂ©!
Also, where is mariah carey? Or jazmin sullivan in that godforsaken list? What about Janelle MonĂĄe or even Miley Cyrus?

michaela mabinty deprince (1995-2024)
đ©°Ëâ§ââ
today, september 13th, 2024, the ballet world lost an extraordinary dancer and woman.
michaela mabinty deprince was born on january 6th, 1995, as mabinty bangura, in sierra-leone. she was orphaned, her parents passing to due to both direct and indirect causes of the civil war in her home country. she was demonized by her caretakers for her vitiligo, being called a âdevilâs childâ, and suffering from other forms of neglect and abuse. in 1999, deprince was adopted by an american couple along with another girl, and they were taken to new jersey, united states of america.
her hopes of becoming a ballerina had been planted when she found a ballerina on a magazine cover in her home country. she didnât know of ballet at the time, but treasured the picture and dreamed of dancing. this dream blossomed into truth when she moved to the states, being put into ballet lessons soon after her arrival. deprince was a four-time participant in youth america grand prix, one of the largest ballet competitions in the united states. she was awarded a scholarship to study at the jaqueline kennedy onassis school of ballet, the associate school of american ballet theatre.
despite facing racial discrimination and other hardships in and out of the industry, deprince persisted in her dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer. in 2012, at the age of 16, she became the youngest member of dance theatre of harlem, and the next year, she joined the junior company of the dutch national ballet. she soon rose through the ranks, joining the main company and attaining the rank of soloist. she was the first dancer of african origin to ever join the company, and a shining advocate and role model for black women in ballet.
her other accomplishments include being an ambassador for war child holland, a dutch organization working to improve the wellbeing and resilience of children directly affected by war. she visited uganda and lebanon through the organization. she also appeared in beyoncĂ©âs 2016 music video for âfreedomâ.
she will dance among all the stars in the sky. rest in peace beautiful michaela mabinty, you are already so missed. âĄ
Rest in power Michaela Mabintyđ»đâš

I donât know why, but these two white women Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift give off the same vibes to me, they seemed homophobic and racist. I feel, and heavy on feel, that they are very opportunistic and they know that supporting the LGBTQ+ community (appropriating terms and styles) is a good PR move as well as making people believe that they care about POC people when in their daily day lives (outside the media) they only care about their own white womanhood.
