Stuffed tortelloni with pumpkin and mortadella — Served with snails and black chanterelle sauce / Oltre. / Bologna, Italy ⠀ Noodles ★★★★ Filling ★★★★ Toppings ★★★★★ ⠀ 🔎 Will you come again? ⠀ 😍 Definitely - I would love to try Chef’s Menu for 6 dishes €53/person Compare to Escargot, the snails were much firmer, together with chanterelle mushroom they gave a real good bite. The pasta was cooked well with the smooth and sweet pumpkin filling (I personally didn’t notice much of the mortadella) I thoroughly enjoyed this dish! _ You can’t fault the interior of the restaurant, together with a real fun cocktail menu (look at that 🐡 glass!) Amazing pasta, you are guaranteed a great time here. I would definitely visit again in Bologna. ⠀ Good for: Pasta nerds, also a perfect date place. Kake udon with tempura / Marugame Udon / Liverpool Street, London ⠀ Noodles ★★★ Broth/Sauce ★★ Toppings ★★ Genuinely excited to see udon coming to the London noodle scene, not just ramen bars! I have been to Marugame in Asia, I roughly know what I am getting. I arrived at 11:59am today while they open at 12nn. There was a queue around 30 people but I was able to get in within 20mins! I enjoyed the texture of the udon, I would prefer it more chewy this one is more on the “doughy” side but really it is £3.45! Such a bargain. This is the only place to get knife cut noodles / dao xiao mian in London that I’m aware of!! ⠀ Good for: Dao xiao mian! The beef broth and stewed beef are really tasty, and the noodles nice and chewy. It’s not quite as good as dishes that I’ve had in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but I’ll take what I can get! 😋 .
