Going Sleeveless by Rachel Via Flickr: The weather's warming up, and you can ditch the cardigan some days.
Salwar Kameez by Rachel Via Flickr: Here's the basic outfit I wore for yesterday's trip to Sydney - I decided to try something different (something else different, if you;re counting the radical new hair colour) and wear a salwar kameez. In fact it's two salwar kameez (not sure of the plural there). The tunic is one I found in a charity shop. It's silk, and cut in a Chinese style with buttons and a high colour. needless to say it looks and feels gorgeous. The trousers are from a salwar suit I bought a few years ago and haven't worn before. I also had the dupatta (shawl) with me - you'll have to wait for the photos including that. The shoes are from K-Mart. It was comfortable to wear, and I felt beautiful.
Going For Cute by Rachel Via Flickr: Mrs Rachel and I went exploring some of the small towns of the Southern Highlands today. This is what I inflicted on them.
Cheeky Smile by Rachel Via Flickr: Because taking photos is always fun.
Colours by Rachel Via Flickr: A few weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely Katherine Hamilton of 'Frock' magazine. She was coming to Australia on a visit, and would be passing through Wollongong, and wondered if we could meet up. So we did. I chose our local Buddhist temple as a venue. If you search for 'Nan Tien Temple, Wollongong' on the 'net you'll see why; it's a beautiful place to visit and, as an added bonus, is only a 15 minute walk from my house. It also has a rather nice eatery, so was perfect for a Sunday lunch and a stroll in the sunshine. Anyway, this was my outfit. Is that skirt not utterly gorgeous?
Dropping Out Of View by Rachel Via Flickr: Opening the 2009 tranny season with a meal in Concord. The long floral dress is from Wallis. And, yes Elaine, it's one from the BBBBoG :-)
Close-Up by Rachel Via Flickr: Today I went out shopping with Mrs Rachel. And it gave me a chance to try the wigless look again. However my hair's grown quite a bit since the last time I did it back in March, so it was more of a success. It still needed a fair bit of work to feminise it; lots of straightening, but I think that, in principle, it works. Today's outfit: Brown pinafore dress from La Redoute, with some cheap sandals from Woolworths.
Something Normal by Rachel Via Flickr: I'd better post one conventional shot. Another outing to the beach. Somewhere off to the left Mrs Rachel is fishing. I was left to my own devices with a camera and a vintage Laura Ashley frock.
Being Watched by Rachel Via Flickr: It appears that I had an audience when I was doing this picture.
Twirl by Rachel Via Flickr: A back view of the dress.

Windswept And Photobombed by Rachel Via Flickr: A double whammy! Also I'm looking concerned at the lady who was looking concerned about the fact that there was a camera perched on a wall 30 feet from the nearest person.
Queen Victoria Building by Rachel Via Flickr: A beautiful Victorian shopping arcade in Central Sydney. Off-white top from BHS Purple hippy skirt from eBay

Posing by Rachel Via Flickr: Because a dramatic beach demands a dramatic pose. Another outing to the beach. Somewhere off to the left Mrs Rachel is fishing. I was left to my own devices with a camera and a vintage Laura Ashley frock.
I'll Get Me Coat ... by Rachel Via Flickr: Sorry it's slightly blurry - my daughter seems to have inherited my wife's inability to hold any camera steady when taking pictures. The jacket was inherited from my late mother-in-law. It's a lovely style, and I thought that it suited the dress very well. You can't see it, but my nerd credentials are established by that brooch on the lapel - it's the Spectrum logo from 'Captain Scarlet' - I'm Travesty Angel :)
Messy Hair Selfie by Rachel Via Flickr: I should have paid less attention to the smile and more to the fact that my hair needed the attention of a brush. Still, the light was good. This was taken in the foyer of the State Library of New South Wales.
